Hey FreshMen! Based on this week’s poll results here and on Discord, I’ve done this two outlines for our Sci-Fi project. Which one do you like the most?

1) A trip sponsored by a large corporation must make a forced landing on a strange planet, with exuberant and hostile alien landscapes, but with remnants of an ancient and powerful civilization. The MC is an young and prodigy leader of the crew, who got to where he is by his own efforts. The ship was transporting a princess back to her family, after she ran away to escape from an arranged marriage. After the ship crash-lands, the princess escaped again, and the MC - with the help of a tough girl who is a member of the crew - is the only one who can find the princess and fix the ship. But this will prove to be a hard task, as some respect him, and others envy him and/or distrust him. As a leader, he needs to protect his team, but perhaps not everyone values his success.

2) A trip sponsored by a large corporation crash-landed on an unknown planet. The crew leaves to investigate the new planet, while you - an  IT guy with lots of tech knowledge - stays in the ship with the princess, your boss’ daughter. You and the princess bond and you get to know more about her, until you lost contact with the rest of the crew. Now you, with very little space expecience, must rescue your team members - including a girl you are interested in. She was tough at first, but you two bonded during the mission. Now, you must find a way to fix the ship’s transmissor, so you can be rescued by the corporation, saving you and your whole crew from being killed by hostile aliens from an ancient civilization. Nobody thought much of him, but now he has the chance to prove himself worthy. But will he be able to survive out there, without any space training?

Sower of Systems

#1 except that I prefer the "princess" being the daughter of a CEO. Feels more in line with the setting

Jubei

agreed with Sower - daughter of a CEO or Board of Directors - fits better with the sci-fi theme, magacorporations and all that jazz
