When RM said 'I wanted to be gentle waves', it's a reference to a post he put on fan cafe years ago (older version of Weverse - basically where the artists can directly communicate with the fans without the public side of social media). He used to put short stories or poems etc on there, and he still does on Weverse. He said... “If I were to be waves to someone, I’d like to be waves that are a bit gentle.” I think these lyrics were quite off but it was a wonderful reaction and insight regardless. Thank you very much :)
