Ahh! This concert was incredible. Seo Taiji and the boys were a hip hop trio and they were pretty controversial by criticising the gov and SK society in the 90s. Their history is really fascinating. I'm sure he invited BTS to perform alongside him because of the similarities in their music. I may be wrong but I think he said something like 'this is your generation now' to BTS onstage. 'Come Back Home' is another good one and BTS did a remake of that too 🔥💜

you should check out come back home! it's a song they covered from seotaiji, he's like a Korean legend from the 90s and he said that BTS will be the torchbearer for the next generation in continuation of their efforts to change society! the guy with glasses is a part of a group that actually inspired media agencies to create Kpop groups as he was in the first ever Korean group!

That's a great way to say it! It's ironic really that Seo Taiji created this independent and socially aware type of music but it's sort of the foundation of a lot of shallow kpop (not all). But it's so interesting to look into the history and how it all started!
