State of the Patreon Update for October (lots of text!) (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Wanted to go over the state of the Patreon and how things are going. The short version, everything is excellent but let’s talk about the details.

Comics!

Growth Lab 56 Green Daze is out for everyone. Yep, the latest comic in the Bixby saga is out right now for every single one of you. Each of you as access to the comic on Gumroad, Mega and my main site. I really like how this one came together and I hope you enjoyed as much is I do.

The next comic will conclude the Bixby saga. Specifically, this means there will be more green transformations. I don’t want to spoil too much but I’ll expect we see a showdown between the green faction and the large bust faction. At least that’s the plan at the moment and don’t hold my feet in the fire about exact details. Issue 56 was a large focus on Vivian like transformations but I expect more balance in the next one.

As for the future the comics and FMG. I really appreciate the response to the latest comic. You guys know historically I’m a BE and GTS person. I did get inspiration from She Hulk comics as they were an early motivation to draw. Mostly I enjoy drawing giantess transformations, breast expansion and female muscle growth inside the animations. Will we see a large focus shift towards FMG in the comics? At this point I can’t say. It really comes down to the stories I’m telling and how I feeling about it.

As a few of you might already know, I use the comics as a source of riffing for ideas. The comics have a general plot I follow and an overall storyline I’m adhering to. Beyond that I like to use comics to experiment with ideas that get brought into the animations and other work. What I’m getting at is it’s very free-form. I don’t say that to disappoint anyone but I want you to know part of the reason I’m able to do the work I do is I can run free in the comics.

It means a lot to me to have your support and I don’t take it lightly. I want you to be as excited about the comics as I am. I know I have a few storylines like the gargoyles or some of my body transformation stuff that are “out there”. What I appreciate about this community is we understand everybody is getting more of what they want. That does mean from time to time you don’t get every thing all the time but overall you are getting a lot more art and animation you enjoy, at least that’s my intent.

The latest movie

The latest movie this month is “Extra Large”. We will see a lot of breast expansion in this. I have a storyline I’m working towards that’s wrapping up this year. I’ve been having a lot of fun with the latest movies. As you may already know, I switched up my editing software and that made things a lot smoother in the edit. What that means is my production time during the edit has gone down. That is offset somewhat by the increase in resolution. We recently increased the resolution of the movies which creates larger files and, as you guessed it, longer rendered times. Mostly this is inside baseball for those who are interested.

Voice over work for the movies

This was asked about recently and I wanted to touch base with you about it. I’m sure more than a few of you might be interested to know how that’s coming along. Again, the short answer is - it is happening. A few voice actresses have been contacted and I’m waiting for responses. While that is happening, I’m planning out the movie itself. Currently the plan is to work us into a fully voice acted movie. This will probably happen over time. Specifically, there may be movies where parts are fully voice acted and other parts are subtitled like now. The main reason I say all this is the logistics of getting a fully voice acted movie together every single month is somewhat strenuous. I’m the only one doing this right now. I’m the only one making comics I’m the only one putting together the movies. I don’t want you to feel sorry for me I’m just saying that to help you understand the terrain. Also, the organization of several voice actresses and coordination of the actress is a bit of a plate juggle.

How can we alleviate this? That is very good question. I’ve had several excellent people step forward and help me out of the kindness of their heart. One thing that would definitely help is hiring another person. I’m not asking you to dig through your pockets any deeper. What I am looking to do though is increase the value of the Patreon and get the word out to bring more friends and fans in. If we do get a lot of people in here supporting it will be a lot easier to hire people (help, VO actresses, etc).

All things considered something that really helps is you personally recommending my work to a friend. That is one of the highest forms of validation. For me, when somebody I know and trust says I should check something out - it means a lot.
