2020.04.09 Ready's Ramblings Episode 005 (Patreon)

 Just a series of notes from me to you! Thank you!  

Hello everyone and I sincerely hope you are well and safe. It's been a little bit since I did a rambling so I figured it was time for a new one.

First off, I want to thank you for joining me here, on my main site or ANY of my social accounts. I do my best to bring art and animation to everyone I can. That said, everyone HERE on the Patreon is what makes the Ready Art machine run. It's YOUR support and YOUR consideration allowing me to bring you all the work you see here.

I also want to send a MASSIVE thank you for the solidarity the patrons have shown here. I admit I was a little apprehensive when I added FMG to the animations since I didn't know if it would be a nice mix with my traditional style (and audience). Overall though, I am really impressed by how the fans of each genre are enjoying the work. Maybe there was more crossover than I thought. Regardless, it's really a team effort. I think we can all agree this is not a zero sum game of "I get mine so you can't have yours". It's really a game of "We can all win if we support each other". Nowhere is this clearer than the animation tier where the monthly voting for ideas has guided us to some really fun, incredible animations. Thank you EVERYONE for that and thank you for the overall tone of civility I see here and on the Discord. I am certain people would like to see ONLY their likes drawn in every animation but they ultimately know cooperation is what is powering the increase in animation. Being divisive or antagonistic doesn't get us anywhere.  

I've been chilling at home for a few weeks now. I head out for routine food foraging but most of my days have been here working on more BE/GTS and FMG art. I did grab some tutorials and have been working on increasing my art and animation skills (again, this is all thanks to your support). Ideally you have notices a slight uptick in quality. I am looking to really bring you more amazing animations in the coming months and I think our March animation was only the START of the fun.

I also hope you have enjoyed the various art posts and comic posts. I know most of you are here for the animation tier but I do enjoy putting out the comics pages and since quite a few of my OG supporters are comics fans I enjoy bringing them new work too. 

We should have some new contests and polls coming this weekend or early next week. I think the May poll for 'who you want' and 'which characters you would like to see' will be up within a week or so. Beyond that there is a contest running for all right now so get on it if you want a chance at my drawing your OC.
