Comic Preview! 

So, I get questions about Olivia (Ultima's sister) in the comics and you know what, she's going in the comics. You HEARD ME! A character STARTED in the animations is now canon in the comics. 

This is a page from Critical Mass which is entirely a BACKSTORY comic. Meaning it all takes place a few years back and shows some of the crew and where they were BEFORE today's comics and animations. 

I'm having fun with it and it's a nice break from the animations. For me it's important to vary up the artwork just to keep mentally 'limber' when I draw. The animations are a big undertaking each month. I end up drawing and coloring hundreds, maybe thousands of frames. Going back and doing a page is SO NICE! hahahaha 

Also, I like to use the comics to try out coloring or inking ideas too. On this page I went for a more penciled look versus the near calligraphy brush type art I normally do.
