This week's comic update is live!

You can go here: http://www.readyartzone.com/patreon/

Summary

To all my new and returning friends and fans, each week I upload comic pages to my main website and YOU as a patron can see them FIRST! The comics are what started this Patreon and probably what I was known for first before doing animations.

The series I am working on there is called the Growth Lab and we are over 1500 pages into it! It's a LOT to read and mostly growth, BE/GTS with some FMG here and there.

You can go to my main site and log in there with your Patreon account to see the work. The site is setup to be accessible from both a desktop and your mobile device. Please enjoy the work and thank you for your support!

Login Instructions for the main site with your Patreon are here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/26342996

Thank you again to all my new subscribers and fans! I appreciate your support and as we gain more friends here I will be adding MORE rewards for all!

honestly kinda feels like you're just retreading old ground here, still good mind you, but nothing we haven't seen a LOT before

Totally fair assessment and I think we two have spoken about this one before. A few things to go over for those new to this comic discussion. One, it’s definitely worth re-reading the comic FAQ I posted about the why’s and direction of the comics (I link it in all the Quick Updates). That still applies and answers a LOT of the questions or comments most people tend to have about what is going on. A quick review though: The comics are mostly me drawing and having fun. There isn’t a real big overarching narrative and for the most part they tend to recycle or rehash the same types of stories (and characters) over and over. I tend to get on a jag with a character I like (say Luna) and draw them into everything ad nauseum. Hahaha. THAT SAID, as I mention in the FAQ and it still applies, I am always looking for a writing assistant or partner. I have had the call out for a while and many people have answered and fallen off for one reason or another. I hold out hope though. On my end, I do look to improve the comics as I can. We are about 2-3 years behind in terms of where I am at currently (the comic up now was drawn in late 2017) so that means there is a lot of stuff still to come and ideally it will suite you taste better. Beyond that, a lot of my time is taken up with the Animation Tier. I don’t say that to dismiss comic concerns but I want to be honest about where the time goes at the moment. I would LOVE to do a full color well-structured comic but I personally don’t think that would be the best bang for the buck in terms of my time. I feel a few people would REALLY like that but that number is smaller than the people who currently enjoy the animations. I do care about the comics FOR SURE, they are my origin story so to speak. Still I have to be somewhat pragmatic with my time. Thank you for the comment and I know you probably didn’t expect a huge answer for a simple review but I do care about the comics! I am doing my level best within reason to bring you something fun at least and thank you for caring! -Ready
