Ready Art Patreon Breakdown and Terms (Patreon)

You want to know all about the Patreon? This is the post to check out! Whether you read it or not this is all you get as well as the rules you are agreeing to follow when you join. 

Hello all, this is Ready Art and thank you so much for stopping by!

I've been drawing BE/GTS and contributing to the community for a long time. You might already know about my completely free site called www.ReadyArtZone.com which has been in operation over seven years. It gets regular updates and I have about two full years of updates already drawn and waiting to be uploaded.

If you can get my art for free then you might ask yourself "Self, why should I support this guy?" Good question! There are a few great reasons. Read on and see if you agree:

All RaZ Patreons have access to my main (free) gallery and the special Patreon gallery. You can log in using your Patreon credentials (this is all handled via Patreon so you are secure!) 

General note about .RAR files : I use the .RAR file format to archive the movies and files on the site. There are MANY free programs for Mac, Windows, Android and iOS that allow you to unarchive files from the .RAR format. In fact most .ZIP archivers will allow this too!

General note about MP4 files: the movies on the Patreon in the MP4 format. There are various free players you can get for Windows, Mac or other systems that will allow you to see and hear the files.

Patreon Comics – All Patreon comics are shown on my main site in a Patreon section. Additionally all patrons can see the entire site and log in with their Patreon account. All this is handled via Patreon’s login system and all your information is secure. 

Comics (Online and PDFs) tier - Patreons paying $2/month or more will be able to access all Growth Lab PDF Comics from issues 1-20.

Movie of the Month – Patrons paying $5/month or more will receive animated previews. These are SAMPLES of the final monthly movie containing (mostly) transformation sequences (BE,FMG,GTS), dialog, SFX and possibly music. They are delivered in MP4 and occasionally GIF formats.

Patrons paying $10/month or more will get access to ALL THE ANIMATIONS on the Patreon. This includes the full length movies created here and clocking in at over nine hours total (Link here https://www.patreon.com/posts/29592980 )

Additionally, animation patrons get that month's new animation. You can expect to see the final animations with sound, dialog, SFX and VFX in MP4 format. Previews and Work in Progress (WIPs) will normally be posted as animated MP4s. 

I will work to post as many WIPs of the animations as I can so you can enjoy the progress as we head toward a final!

Vote in regular polls – These would be regular polls with things like “hey, do you want to see me draw A or B?” or things along those lines. I can’t say how frequent these would be but this would be for all people in the Patreon. 

Questions answered for you - PLEASE READ!

Will this Patreon affect the art available at the free site? 
The free site will remain free and receive new art on a regular basis. That's not changing! Patrons receive art early. In other words, you pledge and you get upcoming pages a week or more early. The free galleries on the main site tend to only get art after it is released on the Patreon.

Do you take suggestions on content?
Heck yah! Any and all Patrons are encouraged to drop me a line here or directly!

If I subscribe to any of the Discord Patreon levels can I get a "private chat"/"personal channel"/"just get your Discord name and ID so I can connect directly" or any variation that basically circumvents using the main Patreon Discord?
If you are looking for a direct Discord/Skype or any such connection with me then your best bet is to just mail me at granitelog (at) hotmail (dot) com It may or may not surprise you to know I get a LOT of requests for 'personal' chat sessions and at this point I don't have the time to do justice to as many people who ask for them. The Discord reward means you will have to subscribe and join my main channel if you want to use it. From there you can post questions and ask away about any subject. Basically, no private chats at this time. If you were hoping for some sort of personal chat session I won't be able to help you. Thank you!

Regarding Refunds

OK folks, this is a digital product and because of this "buyer's remorse" doesn't guarantee a refund. Generally speaking once you buy you are committed to the purchase. Therefore any request for a refund needs to have a pretty solid reason and logic both the refund requester and myself can agree to. It's case by case and nothing I take lightly. There are always people looking to game the system or somehow circumvent paying for the product. That's not MOST of you I know! Still, I will be cautious.

Contacting me

I ask people who contact me directly (or indirectly in some cases) clearly state up front if we have spoke in the past. I'm not asking for real world identities but I want to know if we have had prior communications. Seriously people, this is a GIANT TIME SAVER and polite etiquette. This can be prior communication via my main site, my deviantArt, Patreon or any form of communication really. There is no reason you can't say "Hey, I'm so-and-so using this-other-name from this-other-website" when you talk with me. 

I'm all for your well deserved privacy but I've had several repeat conversations and requests from people under various names that ultimately ended up wasting everyone's time. Not to mention I've had a few unsavory users use new accounts to try to influence things on the Patreon and Discord. 

Short story - if you are unsure then saying "Hey Ready, first time writing you" or "Hey Ready, you might know me from X" is the way to start a conversation. Saves us both a ton of time. 

Hiding or otherwise not disclosing previous engagements/conversations/bans especially if you are looking to avoid a ban or other punishment risks a second ban and further punishment. It's not worth it, you're not helping your case. I might not find you right away but why risk it? 

Pirating, sharing or otherwise distributing paid Patreon content (animations, art, anything locked behind the paywall) I think you already can guess this is a no-no. You are not allowed to publicly post, distribute or share my animations or art unless I myself have publicly posted the art or animation elsewhere first. Basically, no sharing paid content. Sharing is a pretty broad term I know but the idea here is the patrons are effectively sponsoring me to DO THE WORK. It's more than just my time, it's also their money that allows the art to keep coming. 

I ask you to respect the others in the Patreon and not distribute or redistribute the art via any means. I know you might have the best intentions but ultimately if they want to see the art just point them here or to my deviant art page or main site (if they want 'free' samples)

Civil Behavior is expected when discussing things here and on the Discord.
You might already know this but my hope has always been to grow and encourage the BE/GTS community. Specifically the new creators or longtime members who might consider going public with their work. I’m bringing this up because part of the reason for my site and Patreon is to build a group of people who enjoy BE/GTS and want to come together to discuss and share their experiences.

OK, so where was all that preamble heading? Here we go. Overall, I am open about allowing comments of all sorts. People are generally free to express themselves and say what they want within reason. Some guidelines:

 Please refrain from:

• Religion
• Politics
• Racism
• Roleplaying/ 'Excessive arousement' in chat or comments
• Harassment, sexual or otherwise, this INCLUDES private messaging people
• Self promoting, crowdfunding and "selling things" in general
• Unbidden requests for art (please contact me via direct message for that)
• Drama or depressing life stories

Generally, just be nice and get along with the other people here 

• If you are commenting or replying – be constructive or helpful. This doesn’t mean you have to love everything or endlessly praise the art. It does mean you should be civil and respectful of others who come here. This is not a subReddit for snide humor nor an anonymous posting board where you can act with impunity. I respect your privacy and ask very little of you. Just enjoy the Patreon, Discord and main site and keep your feedback civil in tone. I can’t be any more clear. I also can’t offer civility lessons if you don’t know what all this means. For me, it means taking an active approach to watching the comments and users. 
• Auto Bans and Blocks will happen if you don't follow the rules If you break the rules, pirate my work, try to circumvent any of the guidelines or act in what is deemed an uncivil/unhelpful manner you will get kicked and banned from the Patreon and my other sites. I realize this isn't going to catch a determined miscreant but I intend to take what actions I can to keep the place enjoyable for all. Really though - we should be able to ALL enjoy the place so please act responsibly.
• Use Common Sense Not everything is allowed just because it isn't explicitly listed in the rules
• Most of all though – just ENJOY THE ART! If it’s not your thing – fair enough. Heck, even I know there are artists better than me and plenty of other places to go that might suit your tastes better if I am not drawing what you like. If you are here, sit back and enjoy what’s being offered.
