So, this is just something off the top of my head. There is no deadline on this one BUT I thought you might like to weigh in!

I have been thinking A LOT about ways to bring you art focused on characters you enjoy other than my AWESOME OC's! hahaha! (I kid, I kid) Well, read on!

That is - is there a way to deliver you and the patrons really fun 'fan service' type animations or art? I mean, can I do characters that are owned by other companies and publish them? I know I can just "do it" but to be safe and make sure I can continue doing it perhaps I can tweak these characters to be the "Ready Art Universe" safe.  

I see plenty of Patreon artists doing this but and I've even dabbled in minor "Is that so and so from this and that comic?" What I'm wondering about is going full in with something like a Marvel, DC or game character crossover. 

If not a full crossover, what about changing things up to be more of a homage? Example - Invisible Woman becomes Transparent Woman, Scarlet Witch becomes Crimson Sorceress with all needed costume changes.

Something I notice from a few Patreons doing this is they seem to present things as tutorials and sell it as such. It's an interesting angle and I wonder if it's there for a reason versus straight selling K.D.A. fan art posters or the like. 

Would this kind of thing be interesting to you, even as a test for the comics or animations? Also, do you have any thoughts about the legalities or ways other Patreons get around this concern. I am head down in my work and I am sure a few of you see other creator's working on something along these lines so maybe you can chime in with a message or a comment below!

EDIT - JUST TO CLARIFY - OG Characters from other universes can include comics , anime, movies, and games characters, etc

I like this idea and I'm sure as you're not selling these for profit then copyright is fair use. Would love to see Black Widow grow big and boobilicious.

Yah, I'm not too sure about how that works. I agree that perhaps technically I'm not selling other's directly as profit but it does seem a little dicey if I was to say, use Disney or Nintendo characters in my animations and call it 'fair use'. It seems some companies are more OK with this kind of stuff than others of course. Regardless, thank you for the thought! Appreciate it!

Funny you should mention something like this. I might be bringing back some sort of polls that allow a tier to vote for a 'sketch of the month' or something along those lines. Another option I am considering is something like a 'lifetime total' gift. This would be something like 'if you hit a lifetime donation total you get X prize or gift'. That could also be something like a custom OC drawing from me. This is all stuff I will be sharing with this tier and the other tiers come the New Year. A lot to think about over the holidays and thank you for the reply!
