Patrons, beautiful wonderful angels one and all: we are pleased to offer you our first subscriber-only episode. We're introducing a new series called "If It Ain't Woke Don't Fix It" in which we examine ostensibly irredeemable films for positive themes and messages. We begin this week with Lucy's favourite film, 2002's Sorority Boys.

Thank you for your support and please let us know if you enjoyed it and what kind of bonus content you want in the future!

Great work team. Love movie discussions. As long as you're asking, it would be great to get a bit deeper into the analysis, for example going into the context of the time it was produced (culturally and socially speaking), the background of the filmmakers, critical response at the time etc etc. Perhaps even some ridiculous theories like Chapo’s thesis (from memory) that Suicide Squad is about men’s rights and family court? Also, I reckon a good topic (possibly one that has been discussed before) is the social conservatism and (arguably) misogyny of Judd Apatow romantic comedies, for example Trainwreck, in which Amy Schumer is a yass queen pseudo-feminist doing whatever she wants (getting pissed and rooting lots of dudes), but in the end pretty much decides she hates herself and her slutty behaviour and just wants a Nice Guy. The movie is also notable for Lebron James being by far the funniest out of a cast of professional comedians and actors. Thank’s
