*New Age Verification Rule for Creators* (Patreon)

Hey Gearheads!

Just a heads up on a change announced by Patreon.  On October 15th, they are going to require all creators to provide ID.  Apparently, this is being passed down from Mastercard and is related to CP and revenge porn to make sure creators are 18+.  This opens a path for all sorts of DDOS safety issues for creators, so you might see some leaving the platform.  Since most of you guys are here, I'll hold out for now, but it's a good chance to remind you that the subscribestar is active, gets posts as frequently as here and a handful of people are already over there.  There are still lots of early bird slots available, for anyone wanting cheaper full access and to sweeten the pot, I'll start posting the Friday releases a day early over there.

If the Patreon account is suddenly gone, through no control of my own, then you can check the website, twitter and SS for updates on what happened.  You can also join SS for continued access.  I'm still looking into alternatives to run things directly through the website, but from what I'm seeing the credit card services other sites are using, charge much bigger % than Patreon and Paypal for adult account holders.  The search continues though, having more than one backout would be nice.  If you guys have suggestions feel free to throw them my way.  I may run a poll at some point.
