Hey Gearheads!

This months update has been delayed due to wanting to have more info for you about the big projects.

This has been a huge focus of August and will be going into September as well.  I've bee running test on Unity 2019, 2020 and 2021 to see which will be the best to stick with for at least the next 6 months to a year.  Luckily the test with 2021 have just bore fruit, so that should give us quite a bit of room for future-proofing.  I've also been testing multiple different input and interaction systems, like built-in VRIT, VRTK v4, VRIF and Hurricane/Hexabody.  A hurricane/Hexabody combo was looking to be the most versatile combo, but the testing with Hurricane was disappointing and difficult to use.  Testing with VRTK v4 went well, but their modular system is still super complex to built.  VRIF has a great bundle and the most interaction options, but it's using an older method so it would require steam VR, so we're back to making the built-in version work and now that it has more stability for OpenVR, things should progress smoothly.

TL;DR - The best VR systems out there still have issues when it comes to cross-compatibility or ease of use/customizing.

Big News here.  The Raven experience is finally rendered out and in the sound design phase.  Hopefully it'll only take a week or two to finish sound design and then the desktop and VR versions will be good to go.  Overall the animation is over 6 minutes long with a prologue, 5 sex positions and an epilogue.  This has been over a year in the making and once we release it can go back to working on polish for the Korra release.  Raven is a huge step up from Azula and Korra is a huge step up from Raven, so I'm very excited that you guys will be able to see these soon.

Thanks again for another great month and there are big things right around the corner!  Stay tuned!

Is the Raven experience planned to be mainly POV renders?
