November Update (Patreon)
Content
Hey Gearheads!
Big moves in the works. We're continually ramping things up, little by little.
Things were a little tight last month budget-wise so I ended up needing to take on a temp job for some extra dough. That's all done now so I've been working to make up the time these last couple of weeks and getting ready to hit it hard next week to keep things moving forward.
As you've seen with the Tifa BDSM release and the Ralsei release from this week we're continually expanded our range of content by collabing with new artist. Baron Strap and Hel were both pleased with the outcome of the conversions, so we should be looking forward to more stuff from them.
I'm also steadily making progress with the Raven release. All the building blocks are in place, but putting them all together is proving to be quite time consuming, similar to the Azula release.
The content for the new interaction scene has been converted over to Unity fully. Next is connecting everything up, which is easier said than done. Part of it is combining the mini-game system with a new touch interaction system and part of it is getting things to work outside of VR as well. I definitely have my work cut out for me there and if need be I might try to pull Celo back in for an hour or two on the clock to help with the programming and animation controller. Once one of the systems is working though I'll be dropping a demo for you guys to check out. There have also been some major updates to Unity and a few of the assets used in the project since the last release, so hopefully, that doesn't affect things too much.
Our video content options continue to increase with new Blender characters coming out all the time. They're mostly video game characters, but ever now and then an anime character pops up. There has been a major update to a Blender tool that will make MMD characters a lot more usable for POV commission content. I've been experimenting with a newish animation technique that should bring help combine the workflow of MMD with the control, precision and graphics Blender together. We've also been in talks with a local lewd creator that is getting his hands on a motion capture suit. So in helping him find an actress we could potentially benefit from it as well with a few scraps from his mocap sessions, lol.
So all in all, there are a lot of things happening all at once that will hopefully help to streamline the animation process and help us work more efficiently with a smaller overall budget.
Thank you guys for another great month. None of this would be possible without your support and your support and presence on this journey is greatly appreciated. I'll continue to work as many of your suggestions and preferences into the releases as possible while keeping up a consistent release schedule. I'm really looking forward to the projects in the works both big and small and hope you are too.
Together we'll make it happen!
