Hey Gearheads!

Thank you all for your patience.  The time has finally come for another major release!

We've been working tirelessly to get to this point.  With incremental improvements over the last few months.  Here are a few of the steps that it's taken to get us to this point:

  • Design the Space Station
  • Model it from Scratch
  • Optimize the Design and Enhance it Details
  • Create the Textures and Materials
  • Test on Multiple Versions of Unity to Have it Work on the latest stable version
  • Adjust the Scene Lighting and Project Settings
  • Add the Initial Performance Character
  • Add the initial interactive characters and apply multi-layered interactions
  • Test different locomotion options for VR and Non-VR
  • Beta Test Initial Build

There is still so much more that needs to be done, but if I waited for it to be perfect it could be another few months before release.  So for now it to the point where you guys can check it out, have quite a few fun interaction options and start providing feedback.  At this point it's like a combination of 2 POV releases and a VRA Theater release combined and it'll only grow from here, especially now that the majority of the foundation is set.

[VR & NONVR RELEASE]

Included in this release:

  • Main Performance by Miku (VRA Theater Component)
  • 10 Background Characters (some with interactions)
  • Interaction 01: X-ray view of characters clothing
  • Interaction 02: Have sex with the character

Next Updates in progress:

  • Opening RWBY Trainer section of the space station
  • More Center Dome Performances
  • Go-Go and/or Pole Dancers
  • Additional Background Characters
  • Additional Background Props

I just downloaded and tested it on a different computer and looks like the characters re showing up ok. Can you try deleting your version and re-downloading? If still having issues shoot me a message here or on discord and we'll get it sorted out.

I'm glad to hear that the RWBY trainer hasn't been forgotten.

Noice, but a "reset view" key would be nice, as the camera gets some weird angling when moving around. A readme or image file with various key bindings would be much appreciated, as those tend to change from release to release, so I end up mashing my keyboard just to be sure I didn't miss anything.

Thanks for the suggestion. The movement system is still a work in progress. Right now it's based loosely on the POV series, so it's just the standard WASD, Q/E and mouse. Once the next movement system iteration is added it'll be a lot more complex and more plain direction will be included. We're currently looking into the possibility of a combination between "Ghost" camera movement, first person camera movement and controller teleportation, so that everyone can choose their preferred method of movement based on their system.
