Hi everyone,

Thanks as always for all of your support, and I'm happy to announce that I'm once again accepting commissions!

How do I commission a story? First, send me a message or an email to let me know that you're interested in a commission, and what you'd want the general idea for the story to be. From there we'll work out the details, and once everything's finalized I'll approve your commission.

How do I pay for my commission? Paying for commissions will now be handled through subscribing to the new "Fidget Commissioner" tier here on Patreon. Once I've approved the details of your commission, subscribe to the "Fidget Commissioner" tier for one month only to pay for your commission. For the month that you're subscribed, you'll receive all benefits of the "Early-Access Fidgeter" tier, as well as access to the "Fidget Fiend" exclusive content polls. (This is primarily so that Fidget Fiends won't lose access to the polls during any months that they're commissioning.)

Are there any commission ideas you won't accept? I won't accept any commission ideas featuring copyrighted or underage characters. Other than that I'm pretty flexible as long as the story idea is adjacent to the sorts of stories I usually write. It hasn't happened yet, but I do reserve the right to reject commission ideas for any reason.

Do you guarantee complete satisfaction? Unfortunately I'm not able to guarantee your complete satisfaction with your commission, though I always do my best to realize your vision as best I can, and commissioners in the past have overwhelmingly voiced satisfaction with my work. Before starting any project I make a concerted effort to understand your vision for the story as well as I can, and I often reach out for additional detail while writing, but once I begin work on your commission I won't be able to offer any refunds. I'm happy to make a few minor alterations to the story before publication if there are small details that you'd like changed, but I likely won't agree to any major rewrites, so please make sure I understand the points of the story that are important to you before I begin.

Why are your commissions so expensive? My stories take a large amount of time and effort to write in order to meet the quality standards I set for myself. Even so, all things considered, this usually comes out to a surprisingly small hourly wage for my labor. If you're unable to afford a commission, feel free to email or message me your story idea - multiple stories in the past have come from ideas sent to me by Patrons, though keep in mind that I can't guarantee that I'll use your idea without a commission.

Why $200 US per chapter? In the past, I charged $100 US for the first 3,000 words, and $25 for each thousand after that, but I found that most of my commissioned chapters ended up being around 6,000 words, or approximately $175 US. For this reason, and in consideration of the additional fees Patreon takes, I've decided to set my per-chapter fee to $200 no matter the length to keep things as simple as possible for both of us. This means that once I've approved your idea, you won't have to pay anything extra if the story goes on longer than I initially budgeted. I guarantee that your story will be at least 3,500 words, though all of my commissions in the past have been longer - and in some cases significantly longer - than that.

Let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to hearing all of your awesome story ideas!

-Fidget
