Yeah mainly for the most part, ppl watch glee for the songs themselves or maybe a favorite character of theirs. It’s certainly not for the drama lmao but the drama is definitely messy and somewhat problematic

Yeah I think some people(like myself at times) forget that it’s supposed to be satire and as long as you don’t take it seriously while also knowing certain stuff is problematic, then you’ll probably enjoy it

I mean they just performed the song differently from the original and were going for a more sensual and sexy version I guess. I liked it, but I know it’s not for everyone lol! Also this is my favorite show, and it has a special place in my heart so maybe I’m a little biased. 🤣 I do think Glee has better performances though. Amber Riley that played Mercedes had incredible performances and has an amazing voice! Anyway... Glee isn’t for everyone lol!
