That’s why I requested this honestly for two reasons. Firstly, to see your genuine reaction I didn’t want you to be annoyed 😂 but when I watched it I cringed and was laughing the entire time out of embarrassment. And secondly because I going to keep it 💯 Krap isn’t it for many black folk. There are some that like it for sure but a lot of us feel like it’s a major rip off of the culture and even then not done...that well. Even though Jay Park is American and this song is a joke more than anything especially the Beyoncé line 😂 but still it’s not it and the rap from Korean Korean artists unless it’s the more chill vibe type it’s just not it at all really, that’s the general consensus I’ve seen and heard from most black folk who aren’t a fan of Krap. And if you go deeper into it Krap is so damn fake I’m just appalled anyway but then you have the fans of Krap saying it’s better than American rap and I’m like...leave me alone but anyway that’s a whole different discussion. Thanks for the reaction it was hilarious 😂 my bad

So u recommended a song to her so she could see how bad krap can be? Dee openly said she isnt a fan of kpop or krap at all but still has liked a few rappers even if the songs werent her favorite lol. I respect what u said, and many korean rappers have been ripping off black culture ,its very true. Many kpop labels openly say that kpop itself is heavily influenced by many things including black culture, Jyp and even artists like bts have mentioned how influential black culture is and should be remembered. Jpark though is a good artist lol and if I'm not mistaken, he is or was affiliated with JayZ. But this song lmaooo, it was cringeyyyyyyyy. 😭😭😭😂😂😂 I hated it when I saw the lyrics. 💀💀krap can be very forced. In terms of kpop I can name a few rappers who openly credit and go about the rap culture respectfully. Lol for jpark...he is american and is heavily influenced but this song ain't it at all💀💀I'm not coming at your reason for requesting this song lol, I was merely shook 😂😂😂 I like Jay park as a rapper,but I dont like this side. I like his chill, feel good songs or r&b side.

Oh it’s okay. I recommended it so she could have a good laugh and to see her reaction. Also a lot of people seem to think that when we request certain songs and artists it would be better to request other artists and songs and that’s not always the case. Jay Park has some good songs but the overall vibe is similar for most of them and if you’re not really fucking with him then you’re not fucking with him and that’s totally fine. People came at one of my other requests before saying how I should have recommended a better artist like Jay Park or other Krap, but I can already tell what Dee’s general perception of Krap is and will be because it’s very similar to my own and a lot of black peoples. There are always exceptions though and that’s cool, but I mean generally.

I definitely got a good laugh, please ignore me seemingly being annoyed, I'm just dramatic lmao wasn't annoyed at all, but definitely feel strongly about everything I said concerning them ripping off American (black) rap culture. People are always gonna have their own opinions about what "should've" been requested though, I do remember people coming at you last time lol but don't sweat it, if I approve it to be ok, then I'm gonna watch it and that's it. I am going to need people to stop recommending K-hip hop, K-rap and ESPECIALLY Jay Park. A whole appropriative mess and literally so unoriginal. There are a few gems in the genre and a few great rappers but the oversaturation of the genre by cultural appropriating blackaboos is too much for me 🙄

I just wanted to say you’re cool, I didn’t think you were coming for me, I was just answer your question 😂 It’s all good, music and art in general is subjective to the listener and we all have differing opinions about things and that’s cool too. There are some Krap songs and artists I like and I think are dope but for the most part it’s more of the same, and hey that’s fine too, not everything is for everybody.
