At the time, I didn't realize how draining and exhausting it can be dealing with someone like this. When you're depressed, you don't consider how dumping your problems on other people can affect them. I ended up losing some friendships and even potential romantic relationships. I'm in a much better place mentally thanks to therapy and anti-depressants. I've been working on trying to mend some of those friendships.
