I don't know if you can understand how I actually draw from this picture. It is important to note that I am using vector graphics. It may be less suitable for drawing, but its editing options during the process suit me and even if the shading is a bit more complicated since the shadows also go behind the image.

Simplified description:

Create a basic model, if you don't know how, use an external program such as Poser, MakeHuman, Daz3d. Illusion games can also help, where you can basically set everything as you want. Then you choose the color range you like and go for it. You add dark sharp shadows, then light, then dark, then light, then you soften it, adjust it until you like it all. Or until you don't know what else you could do with it - that's my case. It's basically about how you look at the picture and whether you still see room to improve it. It's all a game of shadows.
