Hey COJ, I’ve been listening for a long time and just wanted to share some perspective for any brothers that may be going through the same thing. I recently started delving back into fitness and health, specifically hormones and how the body works in that regard. I stopped self medicating for all the traumatic shit I’ve been through. I would tell myself I needed to use substances to get out of my own head, thinking too deeply about things sometimes. I was living in denial and had a bad type of attitude / was not conducting myself properly. I recently got back in the gym, kicked my decade and a half addiction to cannabis (and more recently stopped being a borderline alcoholic). Its truly amazing how much my mentality has shifted and how many things I’ve realized having had a clear state of mind. I started using as an early teen and without a doubt believe that my development was hindered to say the least. I’m much more productive, proactive, and focused. There have been inconsistent studies on cannabis and its effect on testosterone production amongst other processes in the body’s development, and I would just like to share my personal opinion that its something just as serious as any other drug addiction. Similar to alcohol, its been socially accepted to a point where its abuse is easily rationalized. Although for the most part I think the majority of the people in this community understand how toxic alcohol really is. I just wanted to share that and let brothers know that they can overcome those demons. So, that is all. As always thank you for the videos & I hope all is well with you & yours. God bless
