Hi everyone, just a quick update on some new content we are working on at the moment:

1. Review of the MSI MAG 341CQP - this is their new 34" ultrawide QD-OLED monitor with 175Hz refresh rate. Using the older gen 1 Samsung panel but with all new features, design and specs. This one is available to buy already here. It's with us now and review is under way.

2. Review of the MSI MPG 341CQPX - we are expecting this with us around mid May, but this is MSI's even newer 34" ultrawide QD-OLED monitor with the new "gen 2.5" 240Hz Samsung QD-OLED panel. News piece with info about that forthcoming model here, but we hope to have a nice early review of this soon.

3. Round-up of all of MSI's OLED models, features etc - with so many new models coming out from MSI, including several which have similar specs and names (e.g. the MPG 321URX and MAG 321UPX) we thought it might be useful to provide a round-up of them all, and explain the differences between the MAG and MPG models, as well as explain what some of the features actually mean (e.g. USB-C, KVM etc). Hopefully have this together before end of April

4. Cooler Master GZ2711 OLED review - their first OLED monitor, a 27" 1440p 240Hz model using the familiar WOLED panel. Interested to see how they fair in this crowded segment as if they get the price right it could be an attractive, lower cost option perhaps. That model is with us now, but not sure yet when we will have the review complete. More info on their monitor line-up, including future roadmap plans in this article.

5. LG 32GS95UE review - the UK is quite a long way behind the US unfortunately with availability, but we will hopefully feature a review of this at some point. Likely late May though at this stage.

6. Further HDR testing and improvements - off the back of this article investigating different HDR modes on OLED monitors, we are exploring how best we can update our testing methodology and results in the future when we review new monitors. As part of this we will probably also revisit the Dell Alienware AW3225QF (which we still have with us), and probably at some point the Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM and MSI MPG 321URX if either manufacturer make any firmware updates to improve the HDR performance - we've flagged our findings back to both, and have been told both are looking in to it. We expect if they do make changes that they will send the screens back to us for another round of re-testing.

** UPDATE **

7. Hot off the press, and barging it's way unceremoniously in to our schedule, we should be receiving the Gigabyte FO32U2P this week for review very soon! 32" 4K 240Hz with DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20 speeds). Our Patreon supporters will be able to get early access to the review, keep an eye out soon!

Chaos In Japan

Thank you kindly for all your work. I was wondering if you will review the Phillips Evnia 49M2C8900. It’s similar to the MSI MPG 491CQP you guys reviewed recently but at 240hz. I’m dying for those Best Settings and ICC profile 😅.
