It  took me longer to accept the pose I had drawn than it took to draw it. I  always knew a little would be cropped off the left side but I wasn't  happy with the left leg. I wasted a few attempts redrawing it to make it  more symmetrical but ended up settling for what I had.

After that It  took a few days to look up Tifa's gear from this angle and figure out  what the original intent was for her character. Most people forget that  Tifa's shirt has a big U cut out on the back that goes down to her  shoulder blades, its hidden under her hair but you can see it during a  few limit break scenes...

Then I brow beat myself into drawing a  background because I always feel guilty if I dont. I'll draw fapping  material for the ingrate hordes but so help me god my damsels will not  float in a colorless void! (unless I'm out of soda)  So yeah most of the  production time was spent second guessing decisions that basically  worked. I think I spent about nine hours on it.
