A  very nice picture! And I love what's been done with her zanpakutou - so  frustratingly close to her being able to free herself with it and yet  she cannot reach it... if she even knows its there. Great job colouring  it!

Id  like to think that the sword is driven into a root below sand level so  even if she does know its there she wont move it any closer by pawing at  the sand with her feet.

This  one was harder. For some reason I really wanted it to be set during sun  set and throw some oranges and reds over the sand but the original  picture was clearly set at night so I decided to compromise and make a  night time scene with as little blue as possible and there you go.
