Heyo!

Back here again! Sorry because lately I've been only posting monthly updates. It's hard to manage studies, developing the game and work. Specially the last couple of months where I've been doing extra hours to earn a little bit more, and on the studies side we had a big team project last month and probably a new big but not so big one next month.

But I must say this month I worked hard on the game. Specially certain creature that didn't behave as expected...

So I started the month with an attempt to make more enemies for the game. I had planned slimes, spiders, an imperial mage/cleric (still undecided), and even undead.

But the damned slime code wouldn't work!

I like the aesthetics for the slime, moving around by throwing its core forward.

First i had the basic movemento. then went to try to make it change directions and stick to walls.

It seemed to work fine, until the game decided it didn't, lol.

Or decided to go fly somewhere else.

Then i was tired and just left the slime for a while and focused on other stuff...

And then yesterday I just got it fixed!

Finally they don't get stuck anywhere and just randomly move around!!

I did some sprite work for some small quests, here is an example of a new object pickup.

the top one is just a ref for the rotation of the backpack there.

Then I also started to do the quest reward for saving Grinzaan and returning him to Kiuna.

Can you guess?

Yes! Kiuna gets stripped and gives her clothes to Rynn!

jk there is no nudity in the game. lol.

I think thats it! Well i did also work on code, mostly related to setting up quests and getting things ready for the Meerah store system.

Now for the irl stuff I always insert here.

As I said other times I recently got hooked again on keep writing Rynn's father story. And I'm rewriting some bits to make it fit with the game story like changing characters around, putting more effort on some parts of the story, removing cringe parts I wrote when I was 20yo, and adding even cringier parts, lol.

I feel It has a slow start but when things pick up in the story it's really catchy so maybe in a future I will put extracts of it in the game and even try to publish it. Ofc the story is written in spanish, my primary language and will be hard to translate it to english.
