A new friend comes to the game!

She is K'thani the druid and she is a dragonkin.

The dragonkin on my world are not at all similar to the dragonborn or other DnD dragon species, mainly because the whole dragon category of "monsters" is like talking about "Demons" or "Fairies".
Dragons cover a whole range of creatures, from animalistic to the most powerful godlike dragons. They are the original creatures of this plane of existence before the Order gods (all civilizations comes from them) shaped the world to allow life as we know it to be.

Those creatures that came from the primordial chaos are known as "Dragons", they are mostly attuned to the chaotic energies that could destroy civilization but through the millennia their blood has been mixing, thanks to the chaos nature, with the Gods creations, and most of the current dragons in existence are mostly harmless to the balance.

Here is some categories:

Drakes:  
The most basic type of dragons that currently roam the world. They are basically animals with some supernatural aspects on them.
They range from giant worms like monsters or wolf like to the "wyverns" and gargoyles flying variants.

Dragonkins:
This kind of dragons are the result of a very deep mixing of blood with other humanoid species. They are very rational creatures, and almost all of them are at or over humans in intelligence.
A dragonkin can range to a mostly human like behavior and culture to basically succubae and incubi, these two are full of chaos nature and are driven by the desire to manipulate and reproduce their kind to a dangerous degree.

Lesser dragons:
This category are very much full dragons already, just that they devolved a very animalistic nature, so they also behave like animals, but they are much more dangerous given that they have the full range of abilities a great dragon has but the intelligence, they can't manipulate the magic energies of the world but they are very dangerous nonetheless.
They normally are bigger than an elephant but can get much bigger. and range from having wings and 4 legs to have their arms replaced by wings and only 2 legs.

Great dragons:
The most dangerous of all, these creatures are far more intelligent than any humanoid species, and can manipulate the chaos energies to create spells, they can really be a threat to the whole balance between the Gods order and the primordial chaos.
Those who have seen one almost never survived, the normal size of a great dragon is that of a sperm whale, but there are bigger for sure. And their looks can even transcend what the human mind can comprehend. They are not bound to a dragon like appearance, and some of them have become gods for some mortal cultures.

Well, I maybe have put too much info about the dragons, sorry not sorry. I find that aspect of the world very fascinating because in this universe there are no "Demons" they are just very bad dragons.
