That disclaimer made me realise that most, if not all, audios are going to need to be marked as a stand alone or series part.

Tea isn't lying. Different women will experience their period in different ways. For some it is physically crippling to the point of having to call out of work. For others it can cause dangerously violent mood swings and for others it's like in the textbook. Triphasic birth control pills can help to minimize the more crippling and dangerous effects, but remember again that it may not work for every woman. How does a guy know this? It helps to be the child of an RN and the brother of a sister who has dealt with the weirder effects of being on her period.

Damn sometimes I'm glad I was born a man and dont have to experience periods not gonna lie

Dethos

I'm a guy and I agree, sex education downplays periods a lot, at least what I've had. Not much mention of pains. Out of curiosity I downloaded a period tracking app and the different pains there were so much... it opened my eyes quite a bit. I shouldn't complain as a man about pains that much like muscle cramps. If I were a gal then I'd have period pains added on top too. It would undoubtedly feel awful. Thank you Tea for shedding light on this topic in this audio and some other audios of yours too. You can learn quite a bit from them!

So sweet! And actually very helpful

when I get a girlfriend girl on period "stop being nice to me" me: "NEVER!"

Jonathan Stanbro

Thank you Tea. I have never been around/with a girl when she was on her period, and was honestly a little worried about how to handle it in the future for when I do get a girlfriend. Your audios have taught me so much about how to interact with people, and how to comfort them. Now the hard part is getting a girlfriend. (I'm 21, and haven't had a gf since sophomore year of H.S.). That being said, I think teas audios have helped me so much. Thank You Tea!!!!!!!!!

I know not everyone wants it or can use it, but my last girlfriend said birth control helped lighten her periods quite a bit. I know this isn't a universal solution because everyone is different, but it's something to look into. That, and having a partner who has at least some decent empathy, that's always nice (she and I were both very cuddly, and she once took me to get a MANicure... that's really what the spa called it).

My responses are nope, not doing it, you can't make me, and when hell freezes.

Heat pads! Got it! I used to do back pats and lower back massages if my ex was having cramps again. But heat pads are actually a good idea to have, because I do occasionally have lady friends over and also have a small trash bin in the toilet + wet wipes + tampons. Also, I knew it was stand alone because Jerry wasn't mentioned :D.

Mike Taylor

Triphasic birth control specifically. You are correct, though. It's not a universal panacea.

This really didn't feel like half an hour, and that's a compliment! I was ready to keep spending all the time with her. Excellent script and voice acting!

When my sister started having periods, I just looked up in the general direction of God and said, "Damn, Big Guy, you have no fucking idea what you're doing, do you?"
