Getting over any kind of abuse, including sexual abuse, is a long road. And in truth, perhaps it is not something anyone necessarily 'gets over' but rather learns to accept. 

And having someone who loves you unconditionally, really, really helps.

I hope I did you all proud on this one, Teacups. I realise that it might be a difficult thing to talk about, but only by talking about the issue can we hope to help those who have suffered at the hands of it.

Oh wow. That had a much greater sting to it than I anticipated. I didn't quite realize that it was the speaker who had been abused. When it was finally revealed, the first thing that came was the crushing chest pressure along with drenching tears. Then came the writhing nightmare of agony, sorrow, and rage. Needless to say, my empathy level made this audio very powerful. I haven't suffered abuse, but my imagination serves me well enough. And for that, I thank you for your work. Although, I feel rather empty now...

Sweet Tea, This is so powerful and so raw for me even after all these years. I was an abuse victim myself. Thank you for breaking the stigma and doing this. It's absolutely AMAZING!
