Apparel Drop WIP! (Patreon)

HEYO so I was asked to do a collaboration with Ad Artem to launch an apparel line. Here are the WIPs for my promo art for it /o/

The apparel line will release on 27 July 2023 on 8 AM (UTC-8). I'll post here too when it drops.

Anyway, some lore for the designs, they were based on two Indonesian folklore stories. "Viridian Queen" is based on the legend of Nyi Roro Kidul (Javanese/Sundanese folklore), while "Crocodile King" is based on the story of Bawi Kuwu (Dayak folklore).

Nyi Roro Kidul was a princess banished from the palace for having diseases, and after bathing in the southern sea, was healed. It's a common myth to avoid wearing green in her domain, as it is her favorite color and only she is allowed to wear green.

Bawi Kuwu was the prettiest girl in her village. Her parents were very protective so she rebelled and wandered into a lake, where she met a handsome man. He turned out to be a crocodile spirit who ended up swallowing her, and to rescue her, the priest of the village hunted the spirit down and retrieved her from his stomach.

I wanted to make more artworks relating to various Indo myths/folklores/legends cuz we got a lottttt of them /o/
