AMRL7 Part = Animation Completed + A Little Thought On Piracy (Patreon)
Content
Hello all! I just wanted to say that all of the animation work for AMRL7 Part 2 is COMPLETED! All that is left at this point is RENDERING! I lost soooooo much rendering time due to my house being flooded but I have everything setup as best as I can now and rendering 24/7.
The rendering % below is way off. If I have to be honest, due to my jumping through hoops for insurance, dealing with my hoa, dealing with contractors, plumbers, inspectors, investigators, etc, I have not had a single day of un-interupted work. My typically, semi-organized, record keeping has gone out the window.
Next week I hope to provide a more solid update on when AMRL7 will be out. But just know that all of the hardest part is done =)

So, I wanted to share a little thought on piracy.
I know that piracy is a thing and always will be. If there is a way for people to steal your work and share it or profit from it, someone will do it. I understand that. It sucks, it hurts, and it isn't fair but it's never going to stop, I've accepted that.
I try to avoid the subject and not talk about it because I don't think much will ever be done about it. But, I just wanted to share a tiny story. So, as you know my house flooded. I cant live in my house right now. There's no floors, half the walls are missing etc. I have been bouncing from hotel to hotel to family to sleep and stay the night. Everything I have, aside from my work computers, is in my car. I was at a hotel yesterday and my car got broken into. But I had to run to meet the inspector who was reviewing my water damaged equipment/electronics, then my insurance lady called and said my insurance wont cover the hotel I was in, then I had to go meet with a guy 60 miles away to get my car window fixed, then the insurance sent me an email saying I don't have a proper receipt for plumbing and HVAC so I had to get those to her if I wanted the money re-imbursement. Then I have to rush back to meet with the contractor at my house to explain repairs and setup a dumpster. Then I had to go back to my family members house to work and check on my renders to ensure everything is moving along. Finally, I had to drive back to the hotel, pack up some stuff, drive to a family members house and I ended up falling asleep in a sleeping bag on the floor of their living room after being there for a few seconds. I woke a few hours later and found a few DM's saying "HEY look this site pirated your work!" and even one message making fun of me saying "Haha you cant get rid of it that easily!" (I had submitted like 50+ DMCA take downs the other day)
So, I am not writing as a "boo hoo poor me"... this situation sucks because I know in a couple months everything will be back to normal and I know a lot of people have it a lot worse than I do. I am fortunate to have a good life, kind supporters (thank you), and insurance that will fix most of this damage.
But in that moment, for whatever reason, seeing this, I felt incredibly vulnerable, hurt, and I guess it all just hit me at once and I sorta just had a little bit of a break down. I don't want to be dramatic but I just felt like it was all too much and I just wanted one day of normal.
My point is, I have been guilty of viewing pirated content. I get it and I get why people do but just know there is someone else on the other end of that content. I am not Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Universal Studios. You are not pirating a movie that grossed 12 billion in the box office and made hundreds of people filthy incredibly rich. When you are pirating from me or any small content creator, you are pirating from someone who goes through shitty stuff, spends months working on these animations, literally pays actors, riggings, set designers, texture artists, hair designers, bought $40k of rendering equipment last year to speed up production, etc... and may or may not be semi-homeless.
I have a good life now, thanks to everyone who is here supporting me and these projects, so I am thankful. Grateful... I feel blessed. I don't hate my job any more, I am not struggling each and every day to pay bills and living pay check to pay check like I used to. But I am still human and sometimes I do go through ugly stuff too.
Unlike Disney, Pixar, Universal, I don't have unlimited resources and unlike them, I am committed to re-investing constantly to create more animations and create more content each and every day (probably going to buy a new rendering rig soon too).
I promise, if something we create "grosses" even a fraction of what one of those studios makes you can pirate my stuff all day long and I wont care but just remember, until then, I am a small content creator who is little more than a spec of sand in the adult entertainment industry and less than a microbial life form in terms of the entertainment industry as a whole. I want nothing more than to create more and more fun content and stories and each time my stuff is pirated, it slows down the content creation process and yes... it does hurt my feelings too.
I know that piracy is a thing and always will be... but just think a little bit about who it is your stealing from. Is it a someone laying in a sleeping bag next to her mom on the floor of someone's apartment, or is it a multi billion dollar company that releases a billion dollar project every year.
