Writing journal (Patreon)

This middle section of The Murdered World is turning out to be sex scene after sex scene. I think something I might try with the next draft is to do a flashback/flashforward structure where we start with the characters in this trapped situation, then jump back to show how they got there. So instead of having long stretches of plot, then SEXSEXSEX, it'd be plot, sex, plot, sex, plot, sex. I know it's a well-used story structure, but I think it could work. I could even be all Alan Moore and go, like, three days before the book starts, three days after the book starts...
