Catherine Malabou returns to the podcast on the eve of her most recent work being translated into English, a book entitled "Stop Thief! Anarchism and Philosophy". We revisit the arguments for ontological anarchism and attempt to elucidate a bridge between anarchy in philosophy and politics. Catherine also shares her views on cryptocurrency, AI, and other technological trends as they relate to the prospect of a "dawning anarchy".  Moreover, we explore the distinction between liberatory and libertarian anarchisms as they both emerge on the cybernetic plane of the control society.

Thank you so much, what a unique thinker she is! After your conversation with Taylor Atkins on Simondon, which inspired so much, read his books since, I wonder: is Malabou’s concept of Plasticity related to Simondon’s Individuation? Thank you again!

At about 48:00, Malabar mentions a philosophical project called Opium, where AI philosophers are in dialogue with human philosophers. Any leads to this project? I'd like to continue down that rabbit hole.

even my 14 year old daughter was into this one...I explained anarchy is teenager ;) I think as an intro to the philosophy of anarchy and future with AI in this sense, this is a great podcast.

Thank you for this great conversation with Malabou. What is the name of the text that Malabou is referring to when she is addressing the question of principle via Sharman?
