I had long known that an essay which featured Deleuze's appreciation of Carl Jung existed.  I knew that this essay was the one, but it hadn't been translated in to English until recently. It is featured in the book Letters and Other Texts, which compiles an assortment of writings left to the stewards of Deleuze's estate.  I find that reading these texts out loud changes my relationship with them. Deleuze's notes of Jung and Freud have really got me more interested in the evolution of some of his particular ideas, such as the concept of intensity.
