Hello patrons, and welcome to another series of patron polls!

First off, a quick announcement regarding the patron polls - they will no longer be monthly polls, but instead, we will poll on a more ad-hoc basis whenever we want to gather feedback from patrons regarding content and development!

This is because forcing a monthly poll has started to make less and less sense as we've already gathered a lot of worthwhile feedback and data and need time to implement what we already gauged!

That being said, we now have something in mind to poll for!

Quite a few people have mentioned that the risk, or the threat facing Claire, diminishes substantially as soon as she escapes the Continent and gets to the Isles. Given the Main Questline is now established, and the great enemy responsible for the invasion, the Occultists, have started to take shape and form, we were wondering if players would like to see, in the future, more of a threat from them - even on the Isles?

The idea being that Claire Emmelaine, being the daughter of a hero, Chase Emmelaine, would have a target on her back by virtue of just being her father's daughter. Perhaps some would see her as a potential threat, or maybe old enemies of her father would love nothing more than to bring his daughter on his knees and at their every debauched whim.

This be enough reason for Occultist agents and spies, who would be on the Isles gathering data and trying to undermine support for the Continent, to keep an eye out for her, and the further she progresses in the Main Questline, the more their efforts to take down Claire would ramp up. Lurking in the shadows of grimy alleys, behind a veneer of nobility or seemingly-innocuous faces, or even in the dark of the woods where sinister forces of nature lie, you will feel a constant threat snatching at Claire's heels as she moves around.

This would bring the foreboding, dangerous feeling of the Prologue to the Isles, with Claire's enemies dogging her every move and her needing to keep her attributes, resources, and items, all well-stocked and prepared in case the Occultist agents and their dark allies are encountered.

What would you all think of such an addition? Vote now and be heard!

Yes, I agrees the original premise of the game is that she is a "nobody". There is little reason for the ockultist to go after her early in the game. The plot needs to proceed further and she needs to become more of a nuisance to the oculist for them to focus on her. One idea to enable this is that the refugees have a quest to track down oculists tar are infiltrating the islands

I’d like this as something that ramps up slowly as the plot goes. At first she is really just another nobody so I don’t see anyone targeting her specifically until she does actions/quests to make her a notable target.

Claire surrendering to the Occultists sounds like an incredibly sexy story arc

Voted #1, presuming these will be defeatable enemies. Would choose #3, if these are Resident Evil Tyrant-styled unkillable ones

Agree w/ @wtflollerskates. Claire definitely needs to be "taken" by the Occultist enemies... and submitted to any number of "occultist" situations!

Like others already have said, being able to corrupt Claire to switch sides....Or have her skills determine how she handles encounters. Hopefully not only game over events. She has learned skill during her encounters. Let her use these skills to overcome obstacles. ;p

I like the idea of her being a "nobody" when she first gets to the islands. Then after she starts completing quests that get her more attention or fame they take an interest in her and start following/attacking/trying to corrupt her.

I like the idea. The only thing I wonder is, what kind of people are in this group? Are men powerful (or not) in search of more power and authority? or simply crazy looking for the apocalipse? Are women perverts in love with all forms of abut that, precisely, monsters can offer them? or have they had their spirits shattered and formatted for this purpose? Lots of possibility of who and what they are, so I can't wait to see what you come up with :) If I can afford just one request, make one of the enemies stalking Claire a psychopath and a nymphomaniac who tries to corrupt her by making her live more and more degrading things with each encounter to bring her from their side rather than capturing it. All in all, I'm looking forward to the sequel.

A toggle will be nice. Though I'm for it if it has a story reason for it and can eventually be ended via story choices and actions down the line.

So in addition to having to survive against monsters, now Claire has to try to survive her father's enemies, which sounds pretty appealing. I agree that Claire is pretty safe right now since she escaped from the Continent. So if you have additional hostile forces, have them scattered widely and randomly across the Continent and Archipelago, in the wild or in the city, or on the roads where Claire is on quests. . How do you make Claire be careful on the roads, bushes, forests... Happy New Year and good day to you

I think they should target more than Claire, her farm maids, or other people like the MILF lady should be at the risk as well. Claire can only take so many sticks in her.
