Hello everyone!

We're excited to announce that Overgrown: Genesis is now available for purchase on Steam via this LINK, as an alternative for those who want to support without pledging to the Patreon!

You do not need to buy the game on Steam if you are already a patron, but you can help us out a lot just by wishlisting the game!

Do note that the Steam release is at 0.11.2 to start with, and will be updated to the new version 1.00.0 once public playtesting has been completed over the course of the next one or two days.

EDIT: Steam version now updated to the 1.00 series!

Wishlisted an then bought the game for added support. Will Claire get the same treatment?

Thank you kindly! And we're not too sure about that at this point in time, but at least not for the foreseeable future I would say.

Will the game automatically update from steam client?

Are there Steam achievements?

the game is full game or you will add DLC in future? i personally happy with DLC but that's annoying because why not include inside game

dystopianproject

It's the full game for the most part! Main story is complete. Anything we back-add will likely be at the epilogue, or if it's in the back part of the game, will be accessible from Gallery anyhow.

Will any future updates with content require a repeat playthrough to reach? Like if I buy and beat the game now will I have to play it again to experience the dlc/update content?

dystopianproject

Basically, if you save now at Endings D or E, you will be able to access any new scenes that are added to the Gallery or in the epilogue! Obviously the scenes won't have context in some instances since you didn't play through them, but they can be activated in the Gallery or in the epilogue scenes of Endings D/E anyway.

Hello again, I just wanted to drop by and say that I hope you all are staying safe, and doing well.

Thank you kindly! We are continuing to work in spite of all that's happening and hope that our work brings some respite!

Hello from Russia architect! I have a couple of questions for you and your team. My team noticed your game and now we want to translate it into Russian. Do I need to buy any permission from you? UPD 10:26: I think that many Russian people are already playing your game! I hope you will allow us to translate the game. Unfortunately, not everyone knows English, so we are going to translate the game. And in quarantine, we can help people in Russia and other CIS countries spend time at home.

We were amazed by the pictures and the story of the game itself! We look forward to hearing from You!

Привет! As long as it's entirely voluntary, and you don't sell or try to monetize the translated version, it's fine with me if you wish to translate it into Russian! Спасибо, за вашу поддержку!
