Happy Holidays all, and welcome to another blog - and the final one for the year of 2017!

As you can see, our banner is a teeny bit different for the holidays. :p

This year's banner was designed by foxicube! Last year, we had Ganassa do the design! Originally I was going to have Nikki do the Christmas promo, but he's full up with work as he is, plus his rehab stuff. So, I had foxicube do the honours this year.

The above images will be sent out in full glory to all patrons at all tiers, just in different resolutions, as part of our festive gift to you guys!

Moving on!

First of all, I believe it in order to thank all our patrons, especially those who have been with us from the beginning, for their support! Since our initial arrival on Patreon back in August 2016, where we took in $500 on our first month, we've grown exponentially, and had great progress with both our titles. Now, come the close of 2017, we're at $2,200 in pledges and successfully had our first over $2,000 intake in November! With this level of growth, we'll be able to progress rapidly come the new year!

Secondly, I'd like to shout out to all my staff for putting in the hours needed to make our games what they are. Sure, it's paid work, but many of them go above and beyond, particularly Nikki, Ars, and MiNT, who contribute immensely!

Thirdly, the public release of our next major updates is due soon, we're just waiting for finishing polish on a few final scenes!

In closing, happy holidays, thank you all for a fantastic year, and see you soon with more news about the Dystopian Project!

Solid writing, pretty art, ambition to grow and great communication with fans - no reason for me not to keep throwing down a fiver every month at least. :)

Greetings Dystopian Project! I was very interested in trying out the public release of Claire's Quest, but I cannot seem to run it on my Linux Mint system. When I run the Game.exe file with Wine, a black screen opens up. Can you help me troubleshoot and get the game working?

I run CQ on Linux as well, but I use nwjs. Look up how to use nwjs to run RPG Maker MV games on Linux. Hopefully Dystopian Project will just release a Linux version for us eventually 😀

Can you recommend a guide? When I Googled 'how to use njws to run RPG Maker MV games on Linux', nothing useful came up.

I really appreciate the interest, but alas, I have no experience with Linux and no idea how to port there. I can only port to Windows and Mac!

@Ryan, I've been able to simply unzip the nwjs "normal" archive into the CQ game directory, overwriting any files, but I can write you a step-by-step guide as soon as I can. @Dystopian Project, I think it's as easy as choosing "export to Linux" in RPG maker mv 🙂. You can let us Linux users test it for you. We're generally used to that sort of thing.

Hmmm, I've had bad experience with the port to Android despite the availability of the option, but sure, I'll port one over and you guys can see if it bursts into flames or not.

Keep your great work up! Merry Christmas to all ^~^
