Unused Character Design - Thel Katyusha (Patreon)

Much like Vintovka (her design sketch was uploaded last month), Thel Katyusha was originally intended to appear in an early chapter of Danger Zone One.

Thel is employed by a  private military company known as Cauldron Iron. Unlike many other PMCs, Cauldron Iron uses traditional military ranking, with Thel holding the title of captain. 

In the artwork above she's partially wearing her uniform, but we can see one of her epaulettes (shoulder ornament), signifying her military rank. 

Ultimately, the plot line featuring Thel was dropped -- but expect her to make an appearance in the comic at some point (Cauldron Iron itself has already been mentioned in one of the supplemental/background entries that appear beneath the comic each week.)

Months back, Thel also served as the inspiration for Celia Zeighast, a character from my other webcomic, Welcome to the Machine -- which can be read here: http://themachinelives.com/  However, Celia's final design differs greatly from the above concept sketch.
