Q&A with Midnight (October 2021) (Patreon)

—Have you ever thought about doing page commentaries? Maybe they don’t have to be long, just a couple written sentences about each page? Some writers feature them in print editions and some just do it for Patreon.

I haven’t really considered page commentaries before for DZO, but I do like the idea and I’m familiar with other creators who use them. If there’s enough interest in that, I’d definitely be open to trying it in the future.

—Your 18+ comics are very sexy. I especially enjoyed Reena’s Nightmare and S-exercise. Do you think any kind of H-content will ever make it into future Danger Zone One storylines, like sex scenes and whatnot?

I’m not opposed to it, especially if there’s a scene or situation that calls for that. So far we’ve had some nudity in previous DZO chapters, but not much more. The current Miss Bliss scene certainly goes further than we’ve gone in the past (granted, it’s a sequence vital to a major plot line). But I’m entirely fine including more NSFW elements in DZO if it fits in with the storylines. I know that Salaiix would be more than happy with additional NSFW content in DZO :D

—The other comics you’ve announced, will they all have separate Patreons or be part of this one?

When I originally launched Danger Zone One back in 2016 I was also writing a webcomic titled Welcome to the Machine, and both had separate Patreons. It was a hassle dividing content between the two—so, as of now, I plan to keep everything in this Patreon. That means even more art for current DZO Patreon supporters!
