July Update! (Patreon)

Thank you to all of our Patreon supporters! Another month is here and, as always, your continued support allows us to produce two pages each week and a bunch of Patreon content every month. Thanks to this we also have some new comics on the way (details on that below).

July is going to be loaded with fresh sketches, concept designs, pin-ups, color art, and more from both Salaiix and guest artists. Our current plan is to finish “S-exercise” this month, but we’ll start a new hentai chapter immediately after! Once “S-exercise” is complete, I’ll make it available to all NSFW-tier supporters as a complete PDF file.

In previous months, I’ve mentioned a few upcoming comic projects. First up is one I’ve talked about before, and that’s Sailor Justice.

SAILOR JUSTICE

Plot Summary: High school student Rynn Astra wants nothing more than to be a comic artist. Her comic, SAILOR JUSTICE, follows the adventures of a spunky magical girl, but her work is ridiculed as “childish” by both teachers and fellow students. After Rynn accidentally discovers a piece of alien technology, she gets the power to turn her wildest imaginations into reality and transforms herself into Sailor Justice. Now it’s up to her to save the planet from invading aliens who want the technology back.

Notes: Sailor Justice was the comic Tanabata Usagi had been working on. I’ve spoken with a few artists who would like to continue the comic from where she left off. Hopefully, if all goes well, we’ll have more details about the project in a few months. This was planned to be a 50 page one-shot instead of an ongoing series. Unlike the other two projects below, it does not take place in the Danger Zone One universe.

THE WHITE WRAITH

Plot Summary: Etricia Fantos is a master thief with a specific code: only steal from criminals and syndicates. But when she’s offered the heist of a lifetime, it pits her against a radical terrorist group called Red Wolf. Fortunately, Etricia has an ace up her sleeve—the high-tech Geist stealth suit. But can even that tip the odds when stranded aboard a ship filled with heavily armed extremists?

Notes: The White Wraith is another 50 page one-shot, but will occur within the Danger Zone One universe (we’ll even see a few familiar locations). The plan is to launch the comic in September or October — depending on how far along the art is. I’m working with a new artist on this project and there have been a few delays on their end but, so far, I’m thrilled with their art style and the pages are looking great!

CYBER BLADE

Plot Summary: Some say Jonny Edge is the most depraved man in Pallad City. Rising up the ranks of the Black Lotus crime syndicate, Edge is now the city’s main distributor of Euphoria, a highly addictive pleasure drug. His sadistic nature has brought him no shortage of enemies…or victims. Edge has eluded both the police and rival syndicates — but now he’s being targeted by an assassin — and no one escapes Kijo Kage.

Notes: Salaiix will be tackling this one. He’s been extremely busy with Danger Zone One and the current “S-exercise” chapter, so it’s slow-going, but the pages he’s finished are phenomenal. We’re planning to do two Cyber Blade stories, “Shot in the Dark” (outlined above) and “Personal Contract”. The first, “Shot in the Dark” is intended to be a 15 page prologue. Salaiix is using a slightly different art style and shading process for this comic, so the prologue will serve as a bit of a testing ground. After that, we hope to begin production on “Personal Contract” which will be a 50 page one-shot, exploring more of Kijo’s background (while still having tons of cyber-ninja action!).
