Here's a little something different. A few years ago, an American comic publisher was looking to launch a series of new horror titles, each running in mini-series format (around 3-4 issues). I was approached to make a pitch, so I enlisted a talented Argentinian artist, Guillermo Villarreal, to do three sample pages while I submitted a treatment. Sadly, due to financial mismanagement and some major distribution problems, the company--which shall remain nameless--abandoned their series of horror comics before any could hit the stands.

So, up until now, only a handful of people have seen these pages, which is a bit of a shame--but so goes the tumultuous tide of the comic industry.

These are two of Guillermo's sketch pages. I'll have to do some digging since I know he inked three of the pages. As soon as I find them, I'll upload the finished pieces.
