Unused Concept Design - Early Kijo Sketch (Patreon)

This was an unused character design done quite a while ago. Ultimately, the character would later evolve into Kijo (the dual swords concept would stay the same). I wasn't a fan of the uniform since it looked too simplistic, and--as it was--could have easily been something straight out of Ikki Tousen, or any number of comics/manga or anime that we'd seen done before.
