Development Update: Platform Guidelines and new options. (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone.
I've had a run-in with the Patreon guidelines team (again). This time, the issue was very core to the game.
Somehow... luckily, the Patreon is safe. After exchanging many emails on the subject that were seemingly going absolutely nowhere, things have been handled with no changes to the game.
I've decided to start maintaining a SubscribeStar page, to try to diversify and not be at the whims of any one platform.
I have a writeup on the page explaining the thought process, with a bit of personal backstory clarifying things.
I'm very lucky and don't like to do sob-story bullshit or play the mental health card, but last time my ability to make a living was threatened it honestly did turn unhealthy.
Feel free to disregard this and go on supporting on Patreon, of course. This page will go on.
There's no guarantee it'll be a problem again, I get the sense our exchanges have clarified things a lot and they see me as willing to follow the guidelines.
If anything else were to come up, you can be sure I'd fight appropriately against it.
Regardless, I would really appreciate it if some of you were to read what I had to say.

As usual, thanks for your support, I hope the new update released a couple days ago has been a fun time.
