Johnny talked about his audition with Eric Nam on his show on Youtube, SM has four types/option to audition. The four being singing, dancing, rapping and modeling, Johnny said it was the easiest for him to choose the modeling one, though they still asked him to sing and dance.

You forgot that Johnny and Doyoung weren't in 127's debut in 2016, they were officially added in during Limitless in January 2017.

Yeah, and at that time they probably thought that it would take a long time before SM debut another unit (like look at WayV, they only debuted in 2019) also probably why some of the known trainees in SM left as well like Hansol (if I'm not mistaken he left around 2017) and Johnny thought of that too. I'm glad he stayed thoo.

40:30 yes that's Doyoung's only sibling GONG MYUNG (his stage name) he's an actor and yes also very handsome HAHA 💚 He's also very close with 127 members. I remember the time when NCT127 won rookie of the year in MAMA and Gong Myung was the one who presented the award that was so special and memorable 🥹

FYI, that friend Johnny was talking to when he failed to debut (Taeyong was a stand in for) was actually Sehun 🥹

I just spent 1h and a half crying ... I relate a lot too, on a lot of topics ... I have a cat that's 3 years old, he still has some time to live but I fear the day he won't be here anymore, especially that he lives with my parents back home (I moved to a different country for my studies). I also was bullied through middle and high school, and I know too well that feeling Doyoung had... you just don't want to go anymore, you feel like you're going to throw up and you feel like it's never going to end. Finally, just like Jaehyun, I wanted to take a break. I had such a hard time this year, I was in my fifth and last year of college in a part-time program. To sum up how it went : I barely got any sleep, ate unhealthy food all the time, didn't have time to exercise, worked 24/7, basically drank the winning cocktail. My mom would always remind me that I could go back home for a week or so to just breathe and take a break, so that's what I did in July. Now I'm officially done with my college studies and I'm officially unemployed, looking for a job!

Wiping my tears. This is my second time watching the documentary and like you said, it does serve to humanize them because it is so easy for people to forget that they're not just characters made to entertain them. They have childhoods, tough periods in life, and things that they love outside of being idols. And I think a lot of people have the connection that many of the idols nowadays come from well-off families, so breaking that conception and reminding people that they shouldn't pre-judge is also important. I felt like it was such an honor to be entrusted with the knowledge that they chose to share with us, especially considering that 127, all of NCT, really, are pretty private. Also! Thank you for opening up About your own struggles 🫂 Please continue to make time for yourself! Thinking back to some of the questions you had, yes, it's just Doyoung and his older brother Gong Myoung, an actor, they've been on some shows and at least one photo shoot together and Gong Myoung has been the presenter who got to hand 127 and NCT some of their awards and is considered by many fans to be an honorary neo. They have some similarities but apparently Doyoung more resembles their mother, while Gong Myoung resembles their father more. From what we've seen they have a really fun relationship where Doyoung lets his little brother tendencies out freely even when filming, haha. Doyoung and Johnny weren't chosen to debut with 127. Johnny in that era was studying Chinese so people believe that he and Doyoung were intended to be part of what is now WayV until political tensions heightened. So they were instead added to 127 later, and then nearly 2 years later, Jungwoo joined. Ruby sadly died in 2020. Taeyong has a tattoo of her that his sister designed and Doyoung gave him a necklace in memory of her using the same tattoo design 💚 Thank you for letting us watch the documentary with you!

Taeyong said his regret about his past including not being a better listener, and he atoned to it by playing a part in his members past for this docu. He acted as Mark’s brother, Johnny’s friend, Doyoung, voice acting for Jungwoo’s mother and Yuta’a trainer. I think that’s really touching and good narrative vehicle too. His lines about adult is just child wearing adult mask and we’re allowed to cry is his own line (not script) even the director said he’s impressed. Glad to rewatch this docu with you 💚

Did not expect to cry so much during these four episodes 😅

Bitin naman. Wish we have more. So glad that they did this documentary. I also relate to a lot of things they’ve mentioned here. Love your commentaries as well. Also, I just realized that I’ve watched a lot of your videos since 2020 that when you refer to a comment or story you mentioned in an old reaction video or post I immediately know what you’re talking about.
