After listening to the album, I think SM is very smart and very clear-cut when it comes to æspa. They know exactly what they're doing with them, and what direction they're going, and they've created a universe - in my opinion, it's such a clever marketing decision to have something that fans can call "exclusive" to them, and because the lore is so complex (so far), it's something that keeps fans wanting more. I suppose it's just a steep barrier of entry of sorts for newer fans, but even then, the music itself is SO good. SO experimental, and it perfected the neo, futuristic-industrial sound SM basically trademarked with NCT. I'm excited for future albums and releases if æspa's discography will follow the direction they have so far.

Lucid Dream sounds so exactly like something straight off of one of Ari's more recent albums. Think about anything from sweetener, thank u, next, and positions, and I feel like LD would fit in anywhere. (Probably contributing to this was Hayley Kiyoko writing for this?)

Aespa slaying it in ALL categories.🔥 Youtube views (💪🏻), Physical album sales (record breaking), Digital sales (ALL-KILLs on all charts). They all KILLED THAT! and they're not even a year old in their career!! They're so talented and their music are really good and unique. This might be kind of early to say but imo, Aespa is already on high up leading this generation of K-pop. 💜 Btw, I love all tracks on this album. SM is really consistent in terms of producing high quality b-side tracks for their artists. Savage pre-chorus is superior!!! But my favorites on the album are definitely I'll make you cry and Lucid Dream. 💜
