I watched iland butterfly more than 10 I think but fake love heeseung remains superior.

I really felt like Sunoo did better than Daniel this ep, on almost all of Daniel's higher notes it sounded a little forced whereas Sunoo's sounded free. Also on the second verse Sunoo REALLY stepped it up and it kind of shocked me lol.

heeseung is seriously a monster on stage. Although enhypen don't have set positions, he's considered the main vocal and he really takes the lead on anything musical, fans call him "musical genius". But also, as you bring up, he's an amazing dancer and he shows emotion so well through his movements.

Sunoo's vocals were good but I feel that the ground kids were always at a disadvantage because being told you're "lesser" and being given a less supportive state of the art environment is a hit to your confidence. So I always am way more impressed with the ground kids. Sunoo always took my breath away and I am so happy he made it to Enhypen. Heeseung did sound beautiful though

I'll be honest, I-LAND is my favorite survival show because the drama - despite being aided by a lot of editing and dramatic music - doesn't feel forced. These groups get a chance to bond and genuinely gel together for weeks, and the groups more or less stay the same, so friendships are more genuine and the tension is more palpable when conflict arises. It's SO good and SO interesting. Yeah, it hurts to see some of my faves not get along sometimes, but God is it good television. SKSKSK

i honestly had no idea why sunoo was always picked to get eliminated?? he had a great entry test, but still got picked to go. and he got one of the top scores from the producers and they still voted for him? i felt like some of the i-landers were maybe jealous of sunoo and his natural charm

yuna (유나)

Kind of off topic but you mentioned that this was the first time seeing choreography for BTS -Butterfly, but there actually was choreography, you can see them dance during their comeback stage.

think the reason why they give only 1 week to practice is because it does happen quite often in real kpop world. special stages, idols only get few days to practice due to schedule. promotions, they get more time but quite often pratice times are really short. 1 week practice time is not something that doesnt happen in real life. Lee hyolee and Rain performed at special stage long time ago and it was legendary stage; but she said they only got to practice together on the day of performing. Twice said they learn the choreo 2-3days before shooting music video. I mean they have time to polish it afterwards cause the promotion starts later but still...

I was referring more to comeback stages but yes you're right about special stages. I do think it depends on the type of performance too. heavy choreo with more people will definitely need more time vs duos/trios. like for Dancing High, they're given like 2 weeks if I can remember, and those are dance-heavy stages. but of course, as we've seen on a lot of survival shows, they're doable haha. for music video shoots, I don't think groups choreo the entire song since they only show a portion of the choreo (correct me if im wrong tho). there are story boards for this (like Everglow's Dun Dun on Kpop Evolution documentary for example) so they'd know where they want the choreo to show.

I am a classical violinist, but I do NOT have perfect pitch, so take the following statement with a grain of salt. I agree that the final "Save Me" performance sounded lower and fuller than the practice version, but imo it's more than a semitone lower. A semitone is not that helpful for a struggling vocalist and lowering it just by a semitone can change the entire mood of the song because the key signature changes. I'm thinking that they lowered it at least a fifth, if not even a whole octave. If someone with perfect pitch reads this feel free to correct me if I'm wrong 🤣

jeffavenue

oh ok at least I have another person thinking that it's at least lower! haha I'm not crazy! (until someone comes and tells us we're wrong haha)

in regards to "save me" being a lower pitch, i don't think it was lowered. listening to when they first were introduced to the songs when the new test was announced, i think it sounds very similar to when sunoo and daniel performed it. i believe when sunoo was singing the song during the mid-point evaluation, he might have been nervous and some of the pitches might have been sharp or flat, but with time and practice it certainly got much better. but i'm only a flute player and i sing just for fun, so i could also be wrong haha, it is just what i hear (:

It's actually funny that you mentioned Sunoo and Dongpyo having the same personality because they are classmates. They are in the same class at school along with Jay and Itzy's Yuna and Produce 101 Season 2 Samuel.

It was Sunoo's birthday when this happened. I think he was feeling terrible and sick but I'm not sure if I got the info right.. He mentioned this when he was asked about his birthday during iland. Neverthless, he did great.

This, which is why the contestants themselves shouldn't have gotten to vote. Also, Sunoo is shyer and this makes people not like you. Reserved people always lose when it comes to popularity contests and it's unfair.
