Honestly, I would throw out my ranking except for my number one pick. Everybody was just INCREDIBLE. The rest could've really gone different ways if I look at different aspects but based on my criteria at the time of filming, this is what I felt would've been the most fair for me. Of course again, if I look at a different criteria now, it would all change except for my #1.

Please watch either the intro or the outro for updates!

ive been waiting for this!!

Madie Lee

The highlight of my week. I'm so waiting for your reaction. I hope you have lots of water Jeff lol

LisMM

My fave three Stages this round were SKZ, BTOB and SF9 They each had totally different vibes to them but they were all so so good 😫 I loved the cinematic drop in the chorus of Gods Dududu, and the comedic monologues of Chan and Felix. In BTOB’s stage I enjoyed their live singing, probably the smoothest so far of them on Kingdom. Peniel actually being the one to run off with Miyeon in the end lol. Changsub’s signature comedic facial expressions. The set design here was also really pretty. Sungjae usually does the “fake piano” bit during concerts. I’m glad they kept that i there ^^ As a Fantasy I was so so damn happy to see SF9 do so well. I loved the use of colour and contrast in their stage and the really effective use of props like the stairs and the conveyor belt. I really like what Changsub said about their stage. I loved how the backup dancers were used here to create really interesting pictures and the way they, together with the set felt like a white canvas for SF9 to colour in. Plus...... Their unholy intense stares into the camera. 👀 - Main dancer Chani come thru 🤌🏼 - Dawon dude?! Holy crap how are you allowed to look that good 😭And them smooth as frick vocals?!! HOW DID THE WATER CHANGE COLOUR. what in the name of chemical reactions wus that?? - Jaeyoon with that beautiful prechorus..🖤 - Taeyang with that stair choreo in that croptop 🥵 - Hwiyoung Walking the Walk 💅 - Zuho referencing his song Champagne Yes boi. I see you Mr Male Version of Venus 🥂 - Youngbin talk that sexy leader shii ✨ - Inseong performing his part perfectly. My bias is Main Vocal for a reason mkay! 🎶 Dawon looking like an absolute snackk at the end.... And THEM JUST STANDING THERE IN THE FREAKING RAIN 💀💀💀(Kinda wish they’d danced tho but that’s a bit of a risk to take safety wise so I honestly get why they didn’t do it) Rowoon. I hope his back’s oki and that his schedule allows him to be there in the final episode. 🥰🥰🥰 Also. Can I just say. iKON were so damn wholesome this whole episode. Seeing the two most introverted groups I’m a fan of make friends outside their own company makes me all kinda levels of happy. ^^

EZDC

I was gonna ask if you would review the finale songs, but yeah, listening to them for the first with the performance is fine too. Thank you for sharing this reaction vid and your opinions!

St4rkill3r

I gotta say as a european Ateez´s performance was even more impactful because the song they used at the end, Beethoven´s symphony no. 9 ode to joy, is the hymn of the european union and as a german it was even more mindblowing to hear la poem sing it in german as well. The emotional impact of the performance is enough for me to place it first in my heart. If i had to rank all of them i think it´d be Ateez, Skz, Btob, SF9, TBZ, IKON

Joanne Elizabeth

words cannot express how much i loved SF9's performance . it was brave , breathtaking , sexual , stunning and so much more . The OG producer of Move posted on Twitter and Instagram full of praise for SF9 , he loved it . The water at the end was beautiful , a visual yes but the rainbow colours and the wall had on it BE YOU which was a beautiful nod to how the Move choreography and lyrics are a blending of all genders and sexualities , i really think only SF9 could do this and can we just say Yootaeyang who came up with this and produced this masterpiece is a stand out star of the entire show , SF9 were simply stunning .

after kingdom ends, it’s be great if you could listen to more of btob ^^ i recommend you their immortal songs 2 performances!

Tra Mai

Chani and Taemin got to know each other through Idol Room, where Chani showed up as a fan and they exchanged phone numbers. You should react to that episode of Idol Room haha

Jenn BL

Chani won Taemin’s phone number on idol room for being his biggest fan and got all the questions right!

My rank was skz, sf9,Ateez,ikon,the boyz, then btob. I enjoyed btob’s musical/movie concept. I do wish the live band had a bit more focus a moment where just the band played for a bit. But I do agree with what u said it was hard for me to analyze and place them. Ateez. I loved yeosang’s floor dance it reminded me when San did his rope part for ikon rhythm ta. I loved the new verse joong added instead of rapping his original verse. I loved the grandness it had. They r always good with connecting their stages I mean it’s their concept even outside kingdom. But I will say for some reason idk, this performance wasn’t memorable for me. They only memorable part was when the phantom singers came in they gave me chills. and the ending dance break was amazing. Honestly The only reason I ranked them 3 was because the concept and phantom singers. And yes the arrangement didn’t work for me either. I really enjoyed sf9s stage. The arrangement it’s self was so good, it gave this song such a new vibe especially for me cause I’m wasn’t really of fan of move as a whole (song or choreo wise) but I might actually like the song now because of this stage lol. This performance fit them so well. normally anytime an artist sings a song of another artist u by default instantly compare it to the original but that did not happen for me, idk how but I did not think of taemin not once during the performance.. not once and I love that 👏🏾 The human tree was so 😍 and the whole model r way concept worked to perfectly, and their use of colors was so good. Now let’s be real as someone who didn’t really know sf9 before kingdom, taeyang has already become a problem for me during this show he always catches my attention his dancing is so good. Y did his tall ass have to be in the crop top it was distracting I was trying to focus 😆 Sadly the only memorable parts for me during the boys performance was the 🐍 and rap verses from baby eric and sunwoo. I loved how intense they came out from the beginning. I did have moments were I felt like it was way too many dancers on stage and made it hard for me to catch the different formation and everything else. The arrangement made it hard for me to pay attention as well I was just focused on me not liking it 😆

Anny Maria

just a small spoiler The boyz Kingdom come topped all the chats and also no 1 on genie.............1 year of hardwork came sucessfull

Madie Lee

I just love the message of Sf's Move. Like be you. Have your own color. It doesn't matter, you don't have to comply by rules or strict beauty standards (as what the back up dancers suggest, they all wear the same thing from head to foot, even male dancers and when Chani was about to be scanned,he got a red light which means rejected) Just like what Btob Changsub said "We're humans before products." - meaning Idols/ everyone doesn't come from the same mold, we're all human. No one is alike. All are different in their own special and beautiful way. I love that line from Zuho "I want my own color like champagne." Signifying individuality. Good job SF9. So proud of you! And my God, iKON being super supportive of SF9, calling them "brothers" is probably one of the best things that came out of this show. The friendship. So adorable and sweet! Ps : Yes Jeff, Chani is the maknae born in 2000 together with Hwiyoung born 1999. Taemin and Chani knew each other from idol room, and Chani's role model is Taemin.

Madie Lee

You got that right, Taeyang can really make you swerve lanes. Lol

RisingSunbebe

My favorites this round were Stray Kids, BTOB and SF9. I think that SF9 performance was so original/creative/kind of unique, it's so cool! The Boyz song arrangement of Monster was so unconventional and kind of weird to me - it's like the structure of the song is going backwards almost - since we have one verse and one chorus and then we get what originally is the bridge, then some dance break, rap and final chorus x2 I also think that the stage for the dance break was too dark - we couldn't see the dance well and it was disappointing to me... I felt bad for them because of that. They did an amazing job with dancing in general though - the version was just not my thing I guess. I love ATEEZ, but even though the idea of getting opera singers was awesome - that last part of the performance with Ode to Joy was a bit too much for me - I mean the arrangement with EDM, although I did find that kind of... epic drama going well with ATEEZ style in general. But yeah, unfortunately it kind of didn't work as well as it should have been for me. iKON was iKON and that's cool, but I just loved Stray Kids, BTOB and SF9 a lot more. I actually realized how much I love BTOB again thanks to Kingdom haha... but I guess I'm also a sucker for jazzy musical feel with live band hahaha

Alma U

I also had already given the crown to SKZ when I first saw it and then def took it and gave it to SF9 at the end though, I don't know any of the technical stuff either and I didn't even know the original choreo to move but SF9 stole my heart and I now love them so much too and this performance was everything, their trajectory through kingdom was so cool. I am excited to check out their music more. Now, as an atiny I cried to ATEEZ's answer for the emotions, their way of doing storytelling and giving this song to us was truly nice, the fact that they threw the crown away hit hard too, like they know their rankings in views and votes are not as high as they could, but they still loved and cared for us, that just made me cry. I think it was perfect but I agree the cuts made it a little weird for this round. Answer is also my favorite song of 2020 and still one of my faves ever, I agree that it is perfect as it is, to change it would be to compare it to perfection, but I still felt their intention and their work and I'm here for it.

Yami GA

The truth, by now everyone did great, they are all winners. As Atiny obviously I would like Ateez to win, but I think we all agree that the boys went to conquer Korea and I am well served that the boys begin to be recognized in their own home as they deserve it, for me that would be the biggest prize. P.S. Could you react to the complete chapter of Immortal song where they pay tribute to Psy and Ateez participates, the truth is that you will not regret it, not only the boys did it great (they won btw🤭) all the guests showed off (Jessi my queen, Kim Feel i looooove his voice, Heize, Swings), it is ep 509 😉

Anonymous

Yesssss! Totally.. Jeff should definitely react to the latest Immortal Songs performance, they covered Right Now by Psy in front of Psy. If I was them I’d pee myself. They are so great and MINDBLOWING. You never get bored of their live performances, they always deliver and it’s always a guaranteed surprise! 🥂✨♥️

Izak

The reason your ranking is different I feel is simply because they could only vote for their top 2 rather than ranking so like it adds up the amount of times they got voted fo in each expert and groups top 2

steyn broere

are you going to all the songs fully before the finale? or are you going into it blind?

Anonymous

First things first, Taemin is God 🙏 Second, SF9 was bold to try the most epic kpop song of this generation, AND THEY NAIL IT. Third, how the hell ATEEZ was ranking so fucking low??!!! Fourth, during the ranking I was distracted by Taeyang's bellybutton the whole time. Fifth everyone was soooooo good, I couldn't rank them either.

CactusDragon

Sorry this is slightly unrelated, but I just went to catch up with some of your reactions and I realized you didn't react to ONF on YT (or did I miss it? ^^) I'm just surprised since you liked them in Road to Kingdom and they have released 3 MVs since then (Sukhumvit Swimming, Beautiful Beautiful, Ugly Dance) I know there are a lot of Comebacks to keep up with, but hoping you'll get around to them again at some point please? ^^

Anonymous

I'm sure you will love BtoB's finale song "Finale: Show and Prove" like you said it's the perfect finale song and it was once again written by Minhyuk (he needs to get more known as a producer/songwriter). The first thing I thought when I heard this song was The Greatest Showman, it would be so sick if they actually did that type of concept. I would love to see BtoB go last during the finale because one they are the most senior and usually the most senior artist ends a show but also because this is the perfect song to finish a show like Kingdom

jeffavenue

oh amazing! to think they’ve come from not winning any music shows for the longest time to this. wow. all because of hard work!

jeffavenue

going in blind! don’t want to have any preconceived option on the stages 😊

jeffavenue

i am so excited to hear this song!! but i’m gonna hold back and wait for the show so no spoilers LOL

Anonymous

As usually all did SO WELL in their own ways 😍👍 Here is my personal ranking: Ateez, SF9, The Boyz, Stray Kids, iKON, BTOB.

Irving

I'm still obssesed with SF9's performance Like I don't get tired of watching it, as you said is so unique and refreshing loved it, only thing missing was rowoon... So sad That my bias is not there :c but I Hope he will be in the finale since he is actually on the song they released

Samantha

I do love when there's a movie length Jeff reaction for my Saturday! ^_^ But here we are with another (and nearly the final!) essay length review of this episode's groups + my personal ranking for this round. ******One thing before we begin is that I am so so so happy for all of these groups in the way that they all are starting to come around to the feeling of 'rankings don't really matter, what we feel as performers putting this piece on stage is what matters most.' I've been really worried for all of these groups that they'd start to get discouraged or even depressed with what all is going on in this show (bc let's face it, so far no one has had even the hint of a smooth ride this series started months ago). But now the fact that everyone is like 'this stage is for us, how we personally feel as creators and performers, and our fans, not really for rankings or trophies.' Just makes me all warm and happy inside for all of these severely talented men! ^_^ Here we go with this episode's performances: BtoB: I love that they went with a musical/film concept!!! It worked so well for this song choice along with their characters within this stage. However, I felt like we were missing a crescendo of the song and performance for a Kingdom stage. There was definitely a normal crescendo of the song, the one that already exists in the og version but this is a Kingdom stage. I think that just by adding maybe a more energetic jazz (or even tap!!!) dance break for more of a finale feeling could have just pushed this stage to be stronger and better. That being said, the storytelling, acting, and staging of this stage was fantastic!!! (Not to mention that we all know that the story of the the partner only being able to watch the person they love from the outside is defs something that all these idols along with their so's have delt with :(((( ) Truly I felt like there was a solid amount of collaboration between BtoB and their camera director. Also, this particular song and staging allowed for the cuts of the reactions to not really take away from the performance itself. I think that this song has good moments of rest and with the changing of the set and storyline it fit really well into the show. Overall I'd give this one an 8.5/10. (ngl would've been a 9/10 if they'd let them kiss!!!!!! ) Ateez: okay, honestly I'm ready to fight their camera director for a few of the shots in this performance bc honestly I feel like the bad camera directing was what took away some of the grandeur of this performance. But nonetheless, this stage was incredible ! ! ! ! Answer is my personal fave ateez title track so the second that I heard that they were going to perform it here my hopes were super high. However, this arrangement left something to be desired for me personally this time. The Ode to Joy wasn't a seamlessly threaded in like the choir parts from their MAMA version or when they added the classical piece into their Wonderland stage. I just felt like it was slightly off in terms of flowing smoothly. That being said, this stage was GORGEOUS! They put their story front and center for this stage along with the fan favorite song. Truly this was a stage for Atiny (just like San said!) and honestly it wasn't all that shocking to me when the rankings were announced. I felt like this was going to be a stage that really only the fandom and those familiar with the Ateez lore (lmaoooooo) were really going to love. Yes, I can tell ppl liked it but fully loving it I think you really needed to be into Ateez beforehand. Overall I give my favorite lads a solid 9/10 for this one! SF9: oh boy oh man oh boy oh mEN ! ! ! This performance has me all kinds of shooketh for this one. First off before I get too thirsty in my breakdown of this stage, the message of not being a product but instead being a person; Y E S. Oh my god I was feeling the song and the dance for sure but the message of not just being the same or a robot made for others' consumption is just *chefs kiss*. Especially with SF9, we do get caught up in their gorgeous looks but it's always so important to remember that with these men and with idols as a whole that they are people before they are something to be consumed by buyers. I was super happy that they went with this message along with the set for this stage being a direct reflection of that message. Overall, the story telling and staging for this round was easily SF9's best so far. Now on to the thirst; sirs if u'd just let me take a quick ride I swear we can all be pleased with the outcome 😳🤪 lmaoooooooo!!!!! Okay, I'm done I swear!!!! (But these costumes were stunning, can I get their designer to get me some looks just like this pls???????!!!) Overall I've gotta give them a 9.5/10, they really sold both their own uniqueness as a gorgeous group of talented men along with a message that I think kpop and kpop fans really need to look, listen, and really hear. **** and the fact that Move never won a music show is just a crime tbh The Boyz: full disclosure, Monster is my second fave EXO title track ever (tempo is still the queen for me lol). So for this stage I had a lot of expectations, especially since tbz do such a great job with reimagining cover stages. I gotta be honest tho, the arrangement on the first chorus really does not do it for me. I feel like it took away the intensity that the og song really had in that moment. Also, they really did not need all the backup dancers for this round. I felt like the crowd on stage was waaaaaay too distracting for this late in the game. Just let the 10 of them fill in the space themselves with maybe a few backup dancers to fill in gaps on camera. I do have to say, the only thing I fully remember from this stage is the rap section because DAMN it was incredible. I really don't think this was their best stage tho. Overall I give this one 7.5/10. It just wasn't my thing FINAL PERSONAL RANKINGS FOR THIS ROUND: 1. Ateez 2. Stray KidsSF9 3. Btob 4. iKon 5. The Boyz Always find it so entertaining to see how differently I rank vs you Jeff ^_^ It makes me compare my thought process to both you and everyone here in the comments, I love it! Can't wait for the finale !!! By the end of all of this all I can say is that all 6 of these groups have really put their all into this and I'm so incredibly proud of all of them!

Anonymous

The fact that after ateez filming this eps and they already know the result , they are going to jeju island for a vacation. THANKS AGAIN KQ 🥰 even their producer team said that kingdom really make them exhausted. i'm still cry everytime watching their performance , bcs i know they do all of this for their fans .. i'm so proud of ateez ❤ AS AN ATINY . I LOVE SF9 PERFORMANCE!! 🥺

Anonymous

I felt really emotional watching ATEEZ's performance. As a fan, I can understand every detail in that performance. How they connected their story from the very beginning + their struggles in KD. it's a culmination of their journey. Nevertheless, I do understand the rankings of the experts, ATEEZ's performance is a performance that ATINYS can fully understand but not everyone can easily decipher the small details in that particularly if you haven't watched them before. And honestly, Im pretty sure that Ateez could have gone another way, like covering a famous song, but they really chose their own song because they want to dedicate this stage to ATINYS.

Doyoungismyult

I was thinking this too 😭 Verivery, TO1, and ONF all have had incredible comebacks and dances and Jeff has missed them all 🙇‍♀️😭

Anonymous

As an avid watcher of road to kingdom ive really felt like the boyz have surpassed themselves, at first i thought, this performance was somehow lacking in terms of story and props they usually included but then I realized how they actually took the criticism they got and completely changed their previous performances from having a deeper meaning to just showing off dancing, singing and rapping.

Anonymous

And ive been wanting to say keep up the great work jeff. i am a fan from germany and i love your content just because i actually feel like a real perfomer is judiging these performances.

Anonymous

i love how everyone is sleeping on TBZ's performance...

Anonymous

my ranking is TBZ, SF9, IKON, SKZ, BTOB, and ATEEZ...

Anonymous

TBZ made Kingdom as game of Thrones from their MAMA performance to the Intro stage, to the No Air performance, the O sole Mio, and Lastly this Monster... they manage to put out a show without sacrificing their vocals, dance, and rap... by far they are the most consistent group.. and their final song is still related to their story which is a continuation of their last performance, and you all still manage to question tbz's story line and capabilities.

Victoria

so many amazing performances! my ranking: stray kids, ateez, sf9, the boyz, btob, ikon

Angel Burns

Younghoon isn't necessarily "injured." He had a bad collarbone injury in the past and had to get a steel rod put in. He just had surgery to remove the steel rod and has to not do intense activity post surgery. juhaknyeon is injured, he has a herniated disc.

Lynossa

SF9 really deserves that top spot. Their performance is the best in this round and I love every aspect of it (including that rain pose because we can never get enough of these guys’ sexiness). Chani solo dance was amazing but Yoo Taeyang, my god he is incredible. His every movement is so controlled that I couldn’t take my eyes of him (also the crop top *chef kiss*). I don’t even know him before Kingdom and now I’m in love. I love Taemin so I have high standard when it comes to his song cover but SF9 delivered and made this their own. I’m one of those who criticize tbz in the beginning and I can’t tell you how happy I was to see this performance. I think it’s one of their best and I’m loving it. The dance is perfect, vocal is perfect, rap is perfect. The fact that the stage isn’t busy gives me the chance to truly focus and appreciate the little details. Love it! Agree with you on Q’s backward bent; wish he stood in the front so we could see it clearly because I don’t think many people notice it.

Anonymous

THE BOYZ PERFORMANCE IS THE PERFECT DEFINITION OF FACING YOUR LIMIT AND SURPASSING IT. COZ THEIR NO LIMIT PERF DIDNT UTILIZE A GRAND STAGE DESIGN, GUESS, AND TRICKS BUT A LIMIT UNTO THEIR SELF, HENCE THEY ARE STILL UNSTOPPABLE. AND I LOVE HOW JEFF POINTED OUT THE CRITICISM THAT TBZ GAINED IN THEIR PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE.. THIS PERFORMANCE IS A MEAL, AND IM BY FAR ENJOYING IT

Anonymous

What you said about Btob song is accurate cuz the song name in Korean is "Finale" hahaha

eve_ss

It's OFF-TOPIC, but I really hope to see you Jeff react to TVXQ songs. I really don't see much reaction videos on their songs from YT reactors which I also understand since they're not that active anymore but I miss them so much and as you are my favorite reactor I really want to see your reaction on them. 🥺 But that's just my wish. So yeah. HAHA ❤

Layla123

This show was such a missed opportunity to cover TVXQ :((( I'm hoping for a cover in the finale like we had a cover of BTOB's It's Okay during RTK!

Andreeeea

So for this round everyone really brought it all to the table and i agree with you that this was a lot harder to rank, but here we go. 6. Okay, so this is a really unpopular opinion but I'm gonna rank SF9 6th. Their performance was good and i really do wanna applaud them for doing Move but other than that i just didn't really see anything new in the performance. I felt like some of the moves had been seen before in their other stages and i think what I'm really missing is seeing them being a little more diverse. The sexy concept isn't really doing it for me anymore so that's why they are in 6th place. 5. So our rankings really differs in your top two, cause in 5th i have put Ateez. I totally agree that Answer is a perfect competition piece but i also i agree when you said the arrangement was kinda messy. I feel like at this point they are just forcing the classical sound into the piece without really getting it to match the rest of the song. I also felt like it was really risky to use their own song and they didn't really utilize the concept no limit. I didn't really find any wow factor in this performance. The only reason i didn't put them last is because i actually did enjoy this a bit more than SF9. 4. In 4th place we have iKon. I actually feel like using Pretty Savage was a good move for them but personally i did not really vibe with the arrangement of the song. Like you said this performance would still have been the same even without Lisa but i do think that they should have utilized her a bit more now when they did have her there. The concept overall was really cool tho and I definitely think that they completely understood the assignment no limit. 3. In 3rd i have The Boyz. Tbz are definitely starting tho redeem themselves in my perspective. I felt like the first couple of rounds they have felt forced to make big scale performances where they try do achieve what they had in rtk but this time they really slimmed it down and put more focus on them as performers instead of the focus being on the probs. Sure the snake was cool but it didn't take my attention away from the performance. Choosing Monster also did them good and they really showed that you can make a performance look grand with having tons of probs on stage. 2. In 2nd place i have BtoB. When i tell you i was mindblown this whole performance. Sure dancing wise this was pretty easy, but i felt like they truly showed their colors on stage and they looked liked they were having a lot of fun. The arrangement was amazing (and this comes from someone who doesn't really enjoy jazz) and the use of Miyeon just gave this performance a tiny puss to make it even better. The idea with the movie within a movie was brilliant and i was just in chok through it all. 1. So first we have (insert drum rolls) Stray Kids. So even though this was a grand performance which did use a lot of probs, i really think they made good use of the probs. They weren't just there to be there if you get what i mean. The mashup between the two songs was absolutely brilliant and the finale just made it even better. They put their own colors to the song and still manage to showcase something new. The rap and vocals were insane and ofc the dance was super good. They all shined which is often a thing i think tbz is missing. Skz doesn't only highlight one member but all of them. They make sure everbody gets their time to shine and that is why for me, skz definitely deserved the first place that they got from the experts. I probably have many writing mistakes but bear with me. English isn't my first language.

eve_ss

@Layla123 Oh yess! Like I still remember how epic the TVXQ's Rising Sun cover (by TOO) during RTK! 🔥 I'm thinking maybe we could have a special stage at least from TVXQ during the Finale. It's kind of impossible at this point but I really hope so tho.

Anonymous

I am very much ateez biased, but I do have to agree with you on that one! Personally, I didn't really gel with the arrangement of answer with ode to joy, particularly at the end with the whole final battle scene. And although I understand the performance was for the fans to enjoy (ateez said f kingdom and mnet lol), from a more objective, outsider point of view, I can see how the storyline would be confusing without any prior knowledge. Especially since ateez has a pretty good track record in that area, given all of their previous kingdom performances. In that regard I do understand why they placed lower in ranking, but I definitely don't think they should've been last.

Anonymous

Tbh i'm not sure my poor heart could've handled a wet sensual dancing Rowoon... SF9 World Domination i say

May

I see what they did with the performance order. They put Stray Kids and iKON first because they were performing Blackpink songs. Then we have Ateez and Btob who are performing their own songs for the fans and finally we have SF9 and The Boyz doing amazing covers (Of SM songs lol)

jeffavenue

ya that’s a good point! the experts probably didn’t even know how the real Answer sounds like so this may have not been a good first impression

jeffavenue

ohhhh i see! that was what was announced on twitter for the finale but i think it was a soompi headline LOL but i’m glad he’s healthy enough to have the steel rod removed. i wonder why they’d do it around this time tho- seems like something that could’ve been done after the show. unless they’re planning to comeback right away.

Kasey

So first, as a Yoo Taeyang biased fantasy and Shawol who has always gotten Taemin vibes from him… this was like a dream come true. I’ve said before no one can cover Taemin except maybe SF9 because of Taeyang. Also I have to say I really disliked the Stray Kids performance, I love them but I thought the acting was kind of tacky and I think they should have done another song since they already (at least partially) performed Gods Menu. Also when anyone tries a fun, crazed, in your face concept like this I can’t help but compare to the masters that are Block B. Ateez and YG boygroups are about the only groups who can pull that off besides them and I don’t think Stray Kids immersed themselves enough or looked like they were having enough fun to make the performance successful.

Sandy Cai

I get what you're saying. But Stray Kids main concept is Deadpool. And I think they did a really smart and creative way of incorporating Deadpool to their performance. If you have watched the movie, you know that it is all about that, breaking the 4th wall and not taking things too seriously. Just like how Leeknow was pointed at by so many guns and still he was acting cute. Felix (the opening) and Bangchan (mid section) did an amazing job with camera work, leaving the audience focused on something while they were preparing on the next stage. They completely changed the feel of the song giving it more angst and warcry feels like what SKZ usually are. They didn't do God's Menu again, the entire song is still Black Pink's Ddu Du Ddu Du. They just added the Du Du Du part of God's Menu to put something of theirs in the song that fitted really well. Well, its just my own opinion. :)

Gail

Hey Jeff! Would you consider reacting to the different teams having to talk to each other for 120 seconds? It totally felt like they were all on blind dates lol.

Anonymous

SF9 hands down were tops this round, even with the anticlimactic ending. The music was building up as Dawon was walking and I thought for sure they were going to do one more thing to wow us but it was just like yoohoo we're models and yes just look at how good-looking we are :). They ended it like they started KD, them walking and posing like models. Everything about this stage was on point and fresh, the vocals, the dancing, the stage, the pace and scene transition flow, amazing job SF9! Aside from this stage the one that impressed me was The Boyz's stage. I finally felt like they showed me a different side to them, proving their versatility. Now we come to my faves, ATEEZ, I love that they gave us Answer and dedicated this stage to ATINYs, giving us more insight into ATEEZ lore and connecting the dots, however, to me it fell short of expectations from a production perspective, starting with their outfits. Nothing wrong with them but nothing to wow about either and usually their stylists do such as awesome job. And I agree with you, my favorite part of Answer and the original choreo is the drop with their synchronized jump and we didn't get it :( The camerawork this round was subpar, it did not do justice to their choreo and stage, especially the ending fight scene, I wish they had just filmed a wide front view of it cause there is so much going on already without the camera also constantly moving. While I am not a fan of fight scenes, I do love how they intermixed fighting and dancing moves timed to the beat and imcorporated some slow motion moves, that was really cool and well sequenced but again hard to appreciate when the camera keeps moving. With Answer this was ATEEZ's opportunity to showcase their more graceful/lyrical dancing side cause the song is so melodic and majestic, I'm a bit bummed that they went hard/edm on it instead. BUT, the goods, Hongjoong's rap was everything, we finally heard and saw Yeosang killing it and La Poem harmonizing with Jongho was fabulous.

Even tho i am so late because i just joined the membership😂, i want to say, if u r not an atiny, u probably won't be able to feel wht atinys felt. We were all very emotional whn watching this stage, and i am sure many were close to tears. Whn atz said this stage is for atinys, not for the ranking or the crown, they really delivered it because there were so much emotions in the stage and atinys felt it. For the ranking (altho it isn't important anymore because the show is over), i am able to understand why atz got 6th because of 2 reasons. 1) the storyline. Their storyline isn't just base on their previous performances. It includes everything from their debut. So if u r not a fan, the stage probably makes no sense which is one reason why they ranked last. 2) the judges/grps probably prefer stages tht are more hype, fun and fierce (base on previous rankings) as compared to something tht is more emotional. Wht i cannot understand is the difference in score between the 1st and 6th place. Way too huge, the biggest gap. But anyways, since the show is over, it really doesn't matter anymore. Looking forward to the continuation of the storyline
