Lol Key is such a tsundere. He acts so tough but he is actually so soft and cares so much for the members and him and Jonghyun are actually the cry babies of the group=)) SHINee dynamics are so so unique and i can't wait for u to see more of them<3

Onew had to have surgery on throat years back and there aas a worry he'd never sing like he used to in the beginning. You need to listen to the song Rainy Blue and Nessun Dorma that he did ,he sang Nessun Dorma just to see if he could do it as he is not classically trained at all and he sounds like a proper opera singer xxx

The way Onew's name is written in Hangeul is pronounced "oh-nyoo" but I'm fairly sure both pronunciations are accepted

Wanted to respond to your comment about Taemin vs the other members around the 20th minute - I have been a Shinee fan since 2009 and my first comeback was Ring Ding Dong. Taemin was the youngest idol to have made his debut back in 2008 at the age of 14 (Korean age: 15). He has a natural flair for performing (its not just dancing but being able to add persona and expression to the things he does on stage) and a great stage presence since then. His solo work allowed him to express these qualities and grow them but he was already special since his debut. In fact, Taemin came through SM's Saturday open auditions (the same one that Haechan mentioned in his relay video), which is a weekly audition that started before 2000. When he made his debut in 2008, he was only the third person who came through that audition that became an idol. As much as I love the other members (my first bias was Key), I acknowledge that Taemin was different right from the beginning.

When I first learn how to read hangul, me and my friends wrote the sentences in our language (portuguese) but with hangul letters so if someone found the paper we were writing, they wouldn't be able to understand anything hahahahahahaha we actually wrote portuguese, english, spanish, japanese and korean words in hangul in the same sentence.

not related to shinee sorry, but i don’t know if you found out yet, jaehyuns drama is being postponed due to rumors about the female lead being involved in school bullying/ violence :( update: an article came out with an interview with one of her victims... what she did is so bad the drama is definitely getting postponed for a while & if it does come out it probably won’t do nearly as well as it could’ve... knetz are not fond of her :/

Onew is indeed sooooo cutee;;~;; he's our fake maknae, you'll know how not only his face but his clumsy personality is super adorable too if you get to know him better later🥺 He is the lead vocalist! The main vocalist is Jonghyun:D You got it right, Minho and Key are aaaalways like that they're always bickering every chance they get. But ironically, as Taemin said, they're always together>< They're the only same-age friends in the group so they're comfortable with each other, i guess this is what people called by opposites attract? hahah All of them have solo songs/album! Although yeah taemin is the most active soloist amongst them, Jonghyun was also as active as Taemin. I personally love Jonghyun and Key's solos the most, music-wise their songs fits my taste the best but they're all really good you should check them out:D I don't think they included taemin's quiz part, they sometimes do this when they think it's not fun enough compared to the other clips so they just cut it. I still wish they would include it tho i wonder what was taemin's question:( And hey, there's nothing called "late" when it comes to learning! A lot of us still don't know anything about the language too so the knowlege that you've learned so far is good already:D Good luck Jeff!!!

Their group dynamic is truly like one of real brothers, and that’s especially present with Minho and Key’s relationship. Always fighting and bickering but you know they really love each other. Onew is the oldest, but sometimes his soft personality just makes me think that he’s the youngest in the group sometimes (but Taemin’s obliviousness and adorable cluelessness just reminds me that he’s the maknae). Also, it doesn’t matter how you pronounce it, but in 한글, it’s spelled 온유 (Oh- new) where the new is pronounced the same as “New Jersey, New York, brand new, etc” And idiom is almost like a saying, but in Korean, there’s two different kinds. 사자성어 “Sa-jah-sung-uh” includes Chinese characters. There really isn’t a great way to explain them but in the English language there are a few common ones like “It’s a piece of cake” or “2 birds, 1 stone”

I mean, Lucas and Minho look like twins haha. They are so alike not only on dancing style but their confidence, their charisma, and their face lol. Fans made jokes that SM has a clone machine where the young idols resemble their older idols. Like Winter and Taeyeon, Donghae and Amber and Jeno, Taeyong and Jaejoong, Lucas and Minho, etc.

They also cut a lot out if there's not enough time to cover everyone, like they had way too much content and not enough time to fit them all in. I'm assuming that's also why they cut the cast's "morning" conversation and just jumped straight into Shinee entering the classroom.

The only group who beat Heechul on that "Guess the song" game was Girls' Generation! It's insane. HAHA🔥 tbh, my favorite Knowing Brothers was always with SM artists. They are all so effortlesstly funny and entertaining to watch! 😂🥰

It's not the first time they cut out a member's quiz part on the show and the reason being it might be because of limited time or it was not entertaining or funny enough, but for Taemin I think the case was because he's been in the show for many times already so they want to give focus more on the other members who were recently discharged. So for most parts here we could notice that it's about their military time ☺️ But yeah, I would have loved to see Taemin's quiz part as well. (If they really have it I hope they released the clip also). Still a great episode tho! I enjoyed it so much!! SHINee is one of the best when it comes to variety shows (SM artists, in general tbh) so I already expected this to be a fun episode and they did not disappoint us! I laughed so hard my cheeks and jaw hurts 😂😍

MINHO is so passionate in everything he does. I mean, he's not called "Flaming Charisma Minho" for nothing 🔥. As mentioned, "Idol Star Athletics Championships" is like his playground. He would literally join every single game possible and he would ace it!! That's why he's considered a LEGEND in ISAC. 👑🔥 He's very competitive too! and that's one reason why he and Key always gets into argument because Key was like more of a chill person (and so savage 😂) whereas Minho is so passionate and always full of energy. HAHA love their banters so much! That's real friendship y'all 😂

Most of the hosts have worked with SHINee since the beginning so they have that familiarity going on. They are the industry's eternal little brothers basically, even now at age 30 lol. Actually they all have at least one album under their solo names (apart from Minho), so they already have the experience to go solo. I think taemin with SHINee has a different persona than when he is solo. He gets a lot of pressure from doing solo activities, he has to live up to higher expectations. Being with SHINee makes him more relaxed. But it is true that he became more social and confident those three last years.

Hey Jeff I know you reacted to Marry You from SHINee’s The Ringtone Live but I was wondering if you could react to their solo stages as well. You were saying that Taemin feels different because he has gone solo but the other members have solos as well even full albums (except for Mihno- He has an SM station song though- “I’m Home” ). I’ve been a big fan of SHINee for sometime now and it’s always fascinating how different they are in their musicality and how they Shine individually and as a group. I hope in the future you can continue to react to their solos as well as their group songs because their discography is simply flawless (at least to me). I "met" Teamin in Super M and from there I start staning him as a solo artist. And now that Shinee is back... I'm so shocked (and amused) to see how different he behaves with them: The Great Teamin totally asumes his maknae rol and becomes this little mischievous brat lol and I think that is so fun to watch. As you, I really enjoy watching the interactions between them and really enjoy you always comment on that. Please keep doing it :)
