Minjae's performance had me sobbing, especially with that song (which is an iconic one and one of my favs). Overall, this episode was kind of a let down, mostly disappointed with hoya's choice, after the bombass group performance but there could have been other reasons to that.

Kinda interesting what you said about the windmill etc. I actually agree with what Ha Hui Dong said about the Windmill and Halo moves being a bit out of place with the music though. My take on what he said was, because the moves didn't seem to gel so well with that part of the music, it felt like they may have been included because those are moves that are distinctly bboy and that's her genre of dance, so it was included more for that reason than the moves adding value to the choreography...I agree that this performance was more emotional than Dong Gyo's one before that tho! In comparison, I think incorporate it much better; maybe he didn't keep doing the windmill for as long (he quickly transitioned into something else to fit the music/emotion). But yeah I think he was on the ground a lot, so towards the end it felt a bit similar towards the end. But he really did weave the moves very well to the emotion and music. I am wondering if Hoya maybe didn't push Se Hyun a bit harder because he could see that she was already so stressed. Having seen him in Hit the Stage and how he coached the team so far I am convinced he understands the anatomy of a choreo that is competitive but he really didn't seem to have pushed it this time. But hopefully this was a good experience for her and she handled it positively. That shoe trick in the freestyling. That beat all of the bboy tricks haha. And yeah! the beginning of that perf was more interesting and expressed the music so much more. Felt like it ended ...too soon? Though.

Yes! I understood that b-boy judge's words the same way you did, so I thought he had a good point.

yeah he definitely wanted to distribute the opportunity to shine but it did affect their group. I think its ok this time cause they didn't get bottom. but if they did, im sure it'll be a different story

I think Seunghun, didn't want to let someone go by saying they were a lesser dancer than the others, so he looked outside of their dance skills. I don't blame him.

Oh Jeff, I'm rewatching this show with you now and I just wanted to say I recently discovered Yeri (the b-girl with the hearing aid) is now a choreographer/dancer with the NWX crew under YG Entertainment. They did a cover of Blackpink's Pretty Savage and she was recently on stage for Mino and Bobby's performance of Ok Man! https://youtu.be/fT01wDa8ZJU
