I think Eunwoo’s character can see through her manipulation because a lot of these characters that fall for it only fall for it because they’re so focused on her beauty and his character seems to see someone’s personality before their looks

Yayyyy! I have been looking forward to this all week. Regarding the OST at the end, it’s not Eunwoo singing. The song at the end is actually called “True” by Runy. The OST that Eunwoo sings is called “Rainbow Falling” and it actually doesn’t appear until the later episodes of the drama. Thanks again for reacting! Looking forward to Episode 5!

He also just seems like someone that isn't bothered with his classmates and trying to be overly nice to everyone. Maybe its US culture but after a while of knowing each other I'd also get annoyed by her. You can tell when people mean well but she seems like the type to try to be nice and then use people and play them. Also the other people seem to want to think the best of people even when they repeat mistakes.

Since I've already seen this drama, I really appreciate your commentary on the acting/production side of the show. It gives me a new perspective on it, which makes it an even more enjoyable experience to watch it again. By the way, I know you probably wouldn't be able to get to it any time soon, but there is a drama called "At Eighteen" that I really love. One of the main characters is played by Ong Seong Wu, a former member of Wanna One. I feel like you would really enjoy it, it also deals with a lot of complex societal issues and Seong Wu's acting skills are amazing. Made me cry more than once while watching it. Plus it is also shot beautifully. If you are interested, I would be so happy to see you review it. It's only a request though, it's completely up to you. Thank you for the reaction, can't wait till the next episode! Edit: Plus I didn't even realize this because I wasn't too familiar with Astro, but Moonbin is in it as well! And the drama has an alternate title, Moment of Eighteen :)

Yayyyyyyy! I'm going to watch this now Jeff! It's so much more enjoyable with you reacting to it while watching the Drama again! 🥰🥰🥰

Just wanted to say I LOVE how you react to the acting and speak about microexpressions, etc. It gives us a more in-depth look at the drama from a creative perspective, and overall makes it more enjoyable. <3 And I love what you said about Eunwoo acting with his eyes, basically. It's a stoic character, but there's stuff going on behind the veil.

Shira-Ou

Really happy to hear the part when you said eunwoo is perfect for this role because he can bring out emotion even with minimal movements 🥺 its a bit sad but some ppl like to hate on him over this drama, saying he can't act and all that but his character in this drama is literally supposed to be a cold and expressionless guy😌 also I was wondering if you would also check out rookie historian goo haeryung? Eunwoo is also the main lead guy there and it shows a totally different side from him as kyungseok haha

Ahhh I see! I think I have a Runy song on my Spotify! Can’t wait to hear his OST!

Not sure what I’ll watch yet after this one. Got a lot of suggestions so I’ll review all of them once I finish this one. I am doing True Beauty so I may not do another Eunwoo one until then but I’m open!

i love that you appreciate eunwoo's acting & why he is perfect with this role. Your reaction means a lot bc a lot of ppl only notice his perfect handsome face & saying that he is not a good actor, he only had that face. His eyes will speak his lines in acting... even if i knew what will be the next scene or what will gonna happen it's still the same feeling when i 1st watched MIIGB, 12:38 i cried again... so thankful that i'm watching this for the nth time but with you jeff, i can feel your reaction for every ep. Hope you can react to Rookie Historian in the future too (for me i prefer this one) So excited this weekend.

Eunwoo didn't sing the ending song though he sang Rainbow falling song of this drama. Glad that you noticed that here Eunwoo is not over dramatic but is speaking through his eyes. Thank you for the reaction. Can't wait for episode 5

KNN

I suggest you check out 100 Days My Prince after finishing Gangnam Beauty. D.O from EXO is the main character and his acting is really good, he is known for idol with excellent acting skill 😊

Jeff, idk if you know this but Jisoo was actually the author's model in creating the female lead for the original webtoon of True Beauty. I wonder if you will consider reacting to Blackpink Jisoo's upcoming 2021 KDRAMA called Snowdrop because she ended up not doing True Beauty and was chosen for this drama instead! The leading actor is Jung Hae-In, idk if you're familiar with him, but he's really famous in the kdrama world and is handsome af! The synopsis so far is: "Set in 1987, Snowdrop tells the story of Im Soo-ho (Jung Hae-in), a student at a prestigious university who suddenly rushes into a female dormitory one day covered in blood, and Eun Young-cho (Kim Ji-soo), the cheerful and lovable student who hides him and takes care of his wounds even while facing danger under close surveillance."
