You see I'm feeling indifferent with the final lineup until we have the debut and various content for the group (Hopefully, the concepts/theme for the group are fitting). This is because how the final group was decided on a 70/30 split with the company choosing most of the members. But I'll be supporting them still, especially right now with the unnecessary hate towards them that should be redirected to HYBE/BELIFT LABS instead. Overall, the trainees and everyone deserved better than this survival show and I truly hope that we see some debut for the trainees who didn't make it!

Honestly, I love your honesty and maturity unlike the 80-90% of people out there who are so childish and brutal with the comments about the members especially them saying to protect the minors but are the ones who throws hatred and harsh words to them, more specifically in their recent weverse live about wonhee especially. Now about the show, being used to hybe survival shows, having gone thru I-LAND (Enhypen) and &Audition (&team), in all fairness, I actually predicted 5/6 who debuted in R U Next? kinda accurately. This is also me knowing pretty much how hybe usually forms their groups and how harmonious the group would be. Not gonna lie, they are also very much focused on visuals nowadays and in strong appeal in which the viewers can relate to and not so into how much talented you are, because having a strong appeal is really difficult to have and must be innate to you. I can also say that unlike what other ppl have been saying about the age, i dont think hybe really cares much about it, maybe somewhat but not fully, seeing the ages of how sakura has debuted in le sserafim, K and Fuma has debuted in &team etc etc. This is also coming from a good example of how visual heavy aside from their talents, the groups debuting from hybe nowadays has been. I actually predicted Youngseo, Minju, Wonhee, Iroha, Yunah, and Jeemin to be the final lineup but i guess Moka is taking the place of Jeemin. But im gonna say something about jeemin's situation here (coming from how hybe actually ranked jeemin from their monthly evaluations) This is the same feeling on how i felt about K from I-land who was almost always a top trainee (judges votes + audience votes, almost the same with jeemin's rankings) but him not making the cut was heartbreaking at first but yeah hybe had different plans for him, and after a couple months (technically) hybe eventually debuted him. Even at his age of i think 23/24? he still debuted with being the center and one of the most talented japanese idol ever in &team. Not only K, but 3 of the eliminated trainees from I-land alongside K actually debuted together with Hybe's &team and this just shows how I think hybe had different plans for them. Somewhat, i can visualize this happening to R U Next? as well maybe a 60-70% but most definitely, and i can pretty much guarantee that Jeemin (a top trainee) would be debuting under hybe with a potential leader/center just like K from I-land. I'm saying this cuz Source Music/hybe will be debuting another gg next year if im not mistaken, home to le sserafim. I can see the likes of Jihyun, Funa, maybe himena? maybe chanelle? cuz i can see how chanelle would fit in source music label knowing how yunjin's story (le sserafim) of not making it to produce (series) to debuting in one of the best 4th gen gg out there (le sserafim), and how i can see both yunjin and chanelle having the best time of their lives, chatting with them being in the same company. Lastly, I may be heavily criticized on this statement, but yeah personally, talking about jiwoo, i don't see her debuting under hybe but for sure 100% can debut in a different company because of how talented she is. Im saying that cuz i think she doesn't fit hybe's aura if that makes sense? But im not saying she is not good, she is very good actually 100% a fixed top 3 trainee for sure in R U Next. Potentially, in hybe's new gg if im mistaken. i just can't wait to see how the future holds for these elim trainees, and ill be supporting them 100%. P.S. i really really love the lineup of illit and yes i love their group name as well, it matched perfectly with "en-" the logo of (enhypen) who are their older brothers as they are in the same company (be-lift). I just can't wait on how big of a group they will become and im here for it, i wish there are many like me who are here to support them as a whole ot6 all the way because i just know how they'll become monsters in this industry, just give them like 2-3 years of forming their strong chemistry and they will fly high alongside their sunbaes enhypen.

I really hope this isn't the last we see of Jiwoo and the rest of the girls. I had the same exact ideal lineup as you and was also rotating between Jeongeun, Moka, and Iroha. They really could've had a larger group than six members. There really was just too much talent to waste, in my opinion. As for the 70/30 split, to my understanding, it was even more than that because the first round wasn't only global fans voting on Weverse. It was half global, half domestic. Meaning that the true split combining both rounds was actually 85/15, with 85% being domestic votes. Making it even more skewed against global fans than we initially thought. At the end of the day, as all of us can agree, the hate campaign against the girls who made their debut is very unfair to them, as you mentioned. I think you did a great job explaining my feelings towards the show overall. I'm excited to see what comes next for everyone, and if anything good came out of this, I'm glad this show introduced me to your Patreon. It's always great to find like-minded people like you, but I also feel like even the people in this community I disagree with are pretty respectful. So shoutout to you for fostering a friendly environment!

I agree with most of your sentiments, but I think the age situation is a bit different than that of Sakura or the &team members. Mostly due to Sakura having a massive fan base before joining Le Sserafim. As for K and Fuma, it’s sad, but male idols are usually held to a much less strict standard in terms of age. That, of course, goes beyond just idols and into everyday life, with Korea, like many other modern countries, being a patriarchy. Women are often held to a much higher standard and are seen to have an "expiration date," as wrong as that is.

Mhm, too much talent to waste and that's sadly just due to the skewed split and knetz actually asking each other to not vote for Jiwoo for example as she is somehow "too old" (crazy to think about this in how they think there is an age limit to debut but not an age minimum to debut or work). Anyways, I really appreciate your comments throughout my videos and that's great to hear that you have been enjoying this community! I'll probably cover more variety contents as much as music in the future for the Patreon and YouTube (definitely trying to work on video essays more cause I like to get analytical with music heh). But be sure to stay tuned!!
