hi garrison! i'm so glad you enjoyed this mini album as much as i did, this album listen was so worth the wait. unfortunately this album release is missing one of their members (winnie) who is still recovering from an injury :( like crazy's bridge rap is actually joohyoung and the beginning of the bridge is eden, although i do not blame the lyric vid for getting it wrong as a lot of the fans were confused as to who was rapping in the song in the first place haha. the rappers of the group are typically jiho and winnie, and the others are more vocal focused (however vahn does also rap sometimes as well). i've always thoroughly enjoyed the lyricism in nine.i's music, i feel a lot of it resonates very strongly with me as someone within the age range of members. i think their second mini album (i part.1) still has some of my favorite lyrics though. i am not sure on when you plan on getting to the other albums (no rush of course!) but i can guarantee you both of them will be as much of an experience as new mind was. there is not a single song of theirs that i would ever skip. i love how involved vahn and joohyoung are with their music and i hope to see more of the members try their hands at writing a couple of songs in the future!

Damn, it sucks to hear that Winnie was out for this era so I hope he has a good/quick recovery! But yeah, this album is absolutely amazing from top to bottom and I've been hooked on "Hurt" a lot these last couple of days haha. Thanks for letting me know about that moment in 'Crazy'. Yeah, the lyricism and creativity in their music has been powerful for me so far. But also I love how their title tracks got me throwing back to earlier gens of Kpop. Yesss, I do plan on doing a first listen/review to their other album when I can! So, be sure to stay tuned and I will be looking forward to Vahn and Joohyoung's participation in their other songs that they have put out already!!
